This book was a lot of fun to read. Very entertaining. Each chapter was a new adventure that was different from the last. I don't always read books twice, but this one I'm keeping for next time. At times it will make you laugh out loud.

This book was so funny! I loved it! If you like reading books about dogs, or even just crazy life in general when you have a dog that rules the roost, then read on!

I read this book while on vacation and literally was laughing outloud. Being a dog owner, many of the anecdotes were spot on to my own experiences in the dog search and ownership. Great light read for the summer.

This book is not one of my favorite dog books...for one, there are many disturbing animal abuse scenes the author tries to diffuse with humor. Mainly, however, in two instances the author describes dogs eating things then retrieving them when the dog poops them out by pulling them out of the animal. You are NEVER supposed to tug anything out of of a dog-it can cause severe damage to the dogs intestines and colon. She at least should have made a note of this in the text. Responsible dog owners will not find this book entertaining.

This was a cute, laugh out loud book, and I would recommend it for anyone who has dogs. I really enjoyed it.

I am a dog lover and of beagles especially, however, this book was not humorous as promised. If the story is true, it is hard to believe anyone would allow their pet to do some of e things written. Beagles are smart dogs and very trainable. Don't waste your money on this book. The one star rating is a stretch!!

I bought this one on a whim and am glad I did. This is a very entertaining story about dogs and their antics. The depths that some will go to for their dogs is amusing. Dog owners and not will enjoy this.

We had a beagle for 15 years. I loved her, but thought she was genetically flawed. Now I know she was just a beagle. Six years after she passed we had recovered enough to get another dog; wiser now we got a 6 year old schnauzer. He is fantastic!
