An early Christmas present to me! What a joy to learn the book I had been waiting for arrived early! I had pre-ordered this goldmine of info and thought it was to ship in December. Low and behold - not sure how- but BN.com was able to ship it out earlier! What a find! Natalie Diaz offers tons of advice- so much of what I needed to hear. But this is not just advice as in "you MUST do this and you MUST do that". After reading other parent to be manuals I notice everyone has their own strong opinion and I was confused more so than relieved to read other books. What to do? Who is right? Who is wrong? But FINALLY here is an author who recognizes not all families are the same….and I enjoyed reading her thoughts, advice and practical idea's. I was not intimidated. I read the book and felt more confident in the sense that not all problems have just one solution! And what a breath of fresh air to read and also laugh as Ms. Diaz has a way with words that made me smile more than once! She is knowledgeable AND hilarious- a WIN WIN! The book is already at my bedside as I can foresee myself picking it up daily..lucky to have this guide as my ' go to'. Having twins can be a stressful and scary experience! Here is someone who knows this, survived it and lives to tell the tale. And she wants ME to know all will be ok. There is help if I need it. I know what help to ask for. I can handle any and all situations that come my way. I can DO IT! I felt like I made a friend after reading the book….an EXRIODINARY friend who has a clear point of view and gives advice I trust. “What to Do When You're Having Two: The Twins Survival Guide from Pregnancy Through the First Year” is a GOLD MINE of information…but my only question I have now is what happens after the first year! Natalie Diaz? If you are out there? How about what to do after the 1st year till the kids are at least 18? LOL! I can’t wait to be able to buy your next book. I need your priceless HOW TO’S to continue!
