This book was an awesome read. Many interesting short stories about lots of MY childhood heroes. The book took me back in time and also let me catch up on what has happened to so many of the players I grew up with. The successes and failures, the happy stories and the sad. Stories from Hollywood Henderson, Mike Clark, Harvey Martin, Ralph Neely, Roger Staubach, and many more. It is a MUST read for any fan of the Dallas Cowboys!!

I was hooked from the introduction! This book is filled with heart warming interviews of several former Dallas Cowboys and what they have done with their lives after football. It is so well written that once you have read about one Cowboy it is hard not to find out what all the others interviewed by the author are doing. I hope we see a lot more from this author in the future.

I was given a copy of this book by a friend and it was a great read. The chapters flew by and I found myself going back and reading some over again. One of the best things about this book is that its not just football. In many of the stories, human interest outweighed sports. Thank goodness!! I especially liked the Danny Villanueva, Golden Richards and Jeff Rohrer stories. When is volume 2 coming out?
