I loved how I felt when reading this book. It made me feel less alone and more able to understand that 'my stuff' is pretty universal. It made me see other options and alternatives and outlooks towards lifes ups and downs. It gave me direction. It made me laugh and it made me tear up a time or two. It also pushed me to think bigger and grander and to stop taking so much for granted. All that in a set of 12 essays. I look forward to more.

This book and the author seemed to blow into my life like a much needed breath of fresh air. Where Regret....is so well written and so far and above most of what I get my hands on these days. There's real heart connection in each and every essay. It was not uncommon for me to lay the book in my lap, look up, breath really deep and readjust how I look at things. I mean this book is sometimes raw, elegant, poignant and hysterically funny - just like the mysterious and multi-faceted slices of life. I ache for more of this kind of spiritual literary nourishment.

Such a great read..tender, funny, inspiring. These essays have stayed with me long after I finished the book. I so enjoyed hearing this man speak here in Boca Raton. He is a much needed gift to this world and his words continue to ring in my heart.

A truly inspired piece of writing. I was deeply moved by David's ability to take his life path and translate it to the page - not losing any of his personable, charismatic speaking skills along the way. I love the piece about those in our lives who David labels as 'lids' - from his analogy about the blender - there have been many who have stood by me through some enormous messy moments - situations that left me feeling as though my life was tossed into a blender. It was those select friends who were my friends that never abandoned me through it all. It reminded me of how grateful I am to have them - still to this day - in my life. After reading that particular chapter, I called them, just to let them know how important they are to me and to thank them for their undying support.

What I admire most about this book is the blend of vulnerability and wit with which David writes. His recent speaking engagements in Manhattan were of the same high caliber. His writing and speaking take us on a much needed journey towards Truth. A gifted/remarkable storyteller, Where Regret Cannot Find Me is a collection of essays on everything from forgiveness to finding the courage to answer the call within. I was particularly moved by his Peru experiences and the chapter on loss which related to his father. An inspiring read whatever your faith.

I heard the author recently at an event here in Washington and loved the fact that he came to a relatively small town to promote his book. Personally, I hung on every word and looked forward to reading it. It has a poetic flow to it I haven't seen in awhile.

David examines life using real experiences and allows his deepest thoughts and emotions to be brought to the forefront and analyzed. It's a powerful book and allows us all a look into an interesting life. It serves as a reminder of how we should all strive to behave.

I have been lucky enough to hear David Ault speak in Napa and both times have been uplifted and gently taken down the path I needed to go down. This book will be a treasured part of my spiritual journey, as is the man himself..Ditto on the other suggested readings. Thank you David for being you and sharing you....

I just got a copy of this and couldn't put it down. I felt like I was reading about my own personal odyssey through David's journey. I would read something and go, 'me, too!' Amazing stories from an amazing life.

What a terrific storyteller this man is! I was amazed and moved by his willingness to share his vulnerabilities and life lessons in ways that opened me up to examine my own. These essays are, at times, extremely funny, poignant but always thought-provoking. He's equally as wonderful as a speaker, having just heard him in Orange County, California recently. Do yourself a favor and start cherishing your own copy of Where Regret Cannot Find Me.
