Which God Should I Choose? by Ben Kniskern

The world we live in today offers a wide variety of gods to choose from. These gods range all the way from the god of the moon to the God who created the moon and every imaginable kind of god in between.
When it comes down to it, not many people question the existence of some kind of Supreme Being or Higher Authority. Even an atheist prays when the airplane they are on is about to crash. Nature (the heavens and the earth) and even life itself proves that there has to be a Master Designer involved in creation.
The question then isn't "Is there a God" so much as "Which God should I choose?" With so many choices available though, how can we ever be sure we are choosing the right one?
This book takes a closer look at some of the more prevalent and popular gods of today to see how they stack up against the qualities that a real God should possess.
After all, shouldn't the true God have distinguishable characteristics that would set Him apart from all the other false gods? Shouldn't we be able to know for sure that He is the right God?
The author's goal is to help you or someone you are concerned about make an educated decision when faced with the question of Which God Should I Choose?

4.0 out of 5 stars Authentic and informative March 2, 2013 By DaRev Format:Paperback This book is well researched and very informative. The links shown by the author between several different religions and cults serve as a warning sign to how we should be careful in making our own spiritual choices. The book is informative for those researching different beliefs, and supportive for those searching for a real god in the midst of all the others. The reader is spoon fed large amounts of information in everyday language, while being entertained by the author's point of view. I would recommend "Which God Should I Choose" to people who are searching for their faith, questioning their faith, or simply curious about religious belief systems, their origins, and the issues they present.

Though this book was written for people who are searching for the right God, I had already chosen Him before I read it. But that was ok, because it did something to reaffirm my faith. Which God Should I Choose? does a good job of giving you a basic cover of most religions, showing you the history of each one so you can see how they originated. It was amazing to me to see how many religions were started by mortal men for the profit of a select few. It was also interesting that so many religions borrowed random pieces from the real, original God. This book covers cults, Jehovah’s Witnesses, Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, and many others. It shows the dangers of following the wrong religion and discusses the reasons why the real God is the real God. I think it will be beneficial to people who are searching as well as people who believe they have already found God.
