I like the puzzles because each can be completed in 15 to 30 minutes. I find them entertaining and use the book when I need to occupy my mind for short periods of time. About 30% of a puzzle can be completed with boxes that have only one possible value due to the sum entries for the crossing row and column such as ones where the row entry is a 3 and the column entry is a 4.
I accomplished the highest levels in sudoko and was getting a little bored. My husband bought Kakuro for me and I absolutely love this challenge. Easy to learn. The key is using the table at the back of the book as a guide and reference.
