Who Cut The Cheese?: An A-Mazing Parody About Change and How We Can Get Our Hands On Yours by Stilton Jarlsberg

"Who Cut The Cheese?" is the updated 2011 edition of the razor-sharp parody dedicated to the millions of readers who either enjoyed or suffered through the motivational bestseller "Who Moved My Cheese?(tm)"

"Who Cut the Cheese?" is a parable in which four characters must find a way through a maze in their hunt for "Cheese." But this cheese is actually symbolic of the things that we all want out of life: success and self-confidence, a nice house, a loving marital relationship, perfect children, a loyal dog, indoor plumbing, good Chinese food, several million tax-free dollars, and red-hot sex with multiple partners. The "Maze" in this story is symbolic of the twisting, turning, confusing, mugger-filled blind alleys of Your Life. And since you're being compared to a rat in this book, the whole "Maze" analogy works like a charm. When you come to see the "Psycho-babble on the Wall," you can discover for yourself how to deal with change and how to find the Cheese that will make your life joyous and fulfilling. Failing that, feel free to take crayons and color in the many pictures. It's fun, it's therapeutic, and it will keep anyone else from ever using your now useless e-reader.

This is a short book (as the low price reflects) but page for page is one of the funniest I've ever read. This is a parody of the painful business book "Who Moved My Cheese?" and it's merciless in sending up the original while also skewering the business establishment and our current economic woes. I already owned a copy of the book in the original hardback edition, but am glad to add this updated version to my Nook's library. It's great cheesy fun!

Page for page this may be the funniest book I've ever read! 'Who Cut the Cheese?' is the work of a truly (and brilliantly) deranged mind. I'm putting this book on the shelf right next to Spencer Johnson's 'Who Moved My Cheese?' to remind me to LAUGH when Life throws changes my way!

Sent my wife out for a copy of 'Who Cut the Cheese' by Jim Dawson, and she came back with this one. I got the joke. I've skimmed 'Who Moved the Cheese' by Dr. Johnson. But there's not much here volume-wise, just as 'Moved' was somewhat thin.

According to the author (Stilton Jarlsberg, MD) 'When Someone Cuts the Cheese, Take a Deep Breath.' That's not bad advice for anyone reading this book because I laughed so hard I NEEDED a deep breath. This is the kind of sharp satire I wish I saw more of. Sort of like 'Bored of the Rings,' or National Lampoon, or an adult MAD magazine. I got the book for my wife after she'd been given a copy of the self help book 'Who Moved My Cheese' at work. She likes 'Who Cut the Cheese?' a lot better but I don't think she's going to show it to her boss. A great book for anyone who's read the first one.

I read the original 'Who Moved My Cheese?' as part of a discussion group at work. It definitely had some useful insights, but all my friends agreed privately that the book took itself much too seriously. I can't wait to tell them about THIS book! 'Who Cut the Cheese?' is a perfect send-up of the original, and had me laughing my rear end off throughout. It lampoons the core story of the little people and rodents in a maze, and teaches some hilarious 'life lessons' that will probably soon be photocopied and posted in more cubicles than Dilbert cartoons. 'Who Cut the Cheese?' is the funniest book I've read in ages. I only hope my boss doesn't catch me reading it at work!
