"Why Me?" is a book that focuses on the point everyone is different and uniquely made for a purpose based off of different breeds of dogs. Velle searches for his reason in life and wants to find out his special abilities. The Desirable breed bullies and picks on Velle, as a unique dog, leaving him feeling isolated. The Desirable (bully breed) look for others lack of abilities and their looks, rather than unifying and striving on their strengths. It is important for all breeds to be proud of themselves and able to hold their heads up high. Velle is unaware of his strengths and his potential until he was placed in a crisis situation. Both group understand that all dogs can make a positive contribution to society.
