This book was short but good. Like the others in the series. It has explicit sex scenes and cursing but still has good characters and storyline¿.

Oh me oh my. What an emotional roller coaster ride. One minute Jackson and Laney (who have been BFF's for EVER) are hot and the next minute, Jackson is ice cold. He was enough to make your head spin! Jackson is one of Melissa's boys who refuses to acknowledge what everyone else knows. I mean, the tattoo gave it away. That was a dead giveaway. Yet, he still couldn't get his head around what everyone else knew. I loved Jackson and Laney together. I loved everything about their friendship (minus Jackson going ice cold). Jackson's story is definitely another hot and steamy read that I love as much as every other romance story Melissa writes! If you are into romance, Melissa is the author to follow!

Melissa Foster love to bring families into her books and I think that makes it even more personable and easy to get to know the characters better. Jackson had a friend with benefits but Laney comes in and Jackson ends up with here. I love the flow of his book and how well it was written. Great read.

I have read the other books in the series & hadn’t quite seen what the hype was about to be honest but Jackson hit the spot wow .. this story kept me hooked from beginning to end. Jackson is ALL man & his best friend in the whole world is Laney , gorgeous & feisty .. they do everything together & have a relationship understanding to die for .. all is great until Bryce proposes to Laney! Brilliant book, I loved the whole sequence of events which led to the conclusion .. just enough, drama, love, sex to keep the reader wanting more. I don’t want to give any spoilers but read Jackson’s story, enjoy & dream a little that there are men like that around :) Thanks to the author & Brook Cottage Books for the opportunity to read this in exchange for my honest opinion.

Friendship is the best foundation of a relationship True feelings can never be deceived. It does not matter if you keep it hidden inside your heart. It will show through reactions or even some people will noticed it and you cannot deny. Jackson and Laney are best friends since they were young. They also are in the friends with benefits. Ms. Melissa Foster is right, book three is oozing with fire. You get wet and wild with these two characters. What do you do when your best friend received a proposal? You both knew in your heart that it is not the right thing to do but not to accept the other guys proposal? Laney has to make sure that Jackson feel "more" than friendship for her before accepting the other guys proposal. She just need to confirm from Jackson that they both deserved each other. This book will burn your desires. It is short but oh so good. I am looking forward to read more about Cooper.

ARC kindly provided by Melissa Foster via Brook Cottage Book Tours in exchange for an honest review. Review Just a warning: ‘Jackson’ had a LOT MORE sex in it than even ‘Logan’ or ‘Heath’ had. Read this author's note: Jackson Wild and Erica “Laney” Lane are by far my sexiest, hottest couple yet. My editor said they need a warning label, so if darker, sexier reads are not your thing, you should close this book right now. You have been warned. Jackson and Laney’s story unfolded without much help from me. These two took me on a fantastic, wild ride, and I hope you love them as much as I do. If this is your first Melissa Foster book, be aware that my fans have been asking for a darker, sexier version of ‘The Bradens’, and I’m proud to bring you the ‘After Dark’ series, written in the same raw, emotional voice as ‘The Bradens’ and my other romance series. However, the language in the ‘After Dark’ books is naughtier than in my other novels, and the heat level has amped up quite a bit. You have a whole series of loyal, sexy, and wickedly naughty heroes and sexy, sassy heroines to catch up on with my ‘Love in Bloom’ series (‘Snow Sisters’, ‘The Bradens’, ‘The Remingtons’, ‘Seaside Summers’, and ‘The Ryders’), as well as several other hot heroes and heroines. The characters from each series make appearances in future books. ‘Jackson’ is the third Wild brother and the third eldest (or second youngest, depends how you look at it). It’s my highly anticipated novel in Melissa Foster's new series ‘Wild Boys After Dark’ and one I am SO VERY HAPPY TO BE REVIEWING. It was a novel I took GREAT PLEASURE in reading and will probably re-read again. Half of Laney's (also known as Erica) and Jackson's novel takes place during their annual camping trip. I loved that this was something familiar to them yet also a sort of adventure as each was rediscovering themselves, their love for each other and their relationship. Their trip was also overshadowed by a sense of upcoming loss of the other, sadness, regret and hopelessness whilst each tried to figure out how to deal with the proposal that loomed over them and threatened to tear them apart. Laney's and Jackson's relationship is a special one: it was forged when Laney was at her weakest and then reforged when Jackson became the weakest. I absolutely loved the trust and love they had in each other; how they were able to let themselves go around each other and just BE; how they cared so deeply and relied on each other to lift the other up during hardships. I felt sorry for Laney and Jackson: Their relationship had existed for so long and with the same expectations they had at the beginning that when they were finally BOTH ready for more, they were afraid of ruining it for each other and terrified of losing the intimacy and love they shared. I remember that at one point whilst reviewing the series, I wrote: "I am TOTALLY falling in love with the 'Wild' brothers". Well I now stand corrected: I am ABSOLUTLEY, inexplicably, irrevocably and undeniably in love with the 'Wild' brothers; and Jackson is my personal favourite. I loved that this book told itself; that it flowed smoothly and did not have to be planned in order to be told well. It was natural and RIGHT. I ABSOLUTLEY ZOOOOMED through this novel. It was quite short for me, and I was very sad that their story could not have been longer. This was the ONLY thing I got upset about whilst reading, but it was one of those NICE regrets: Like the ones you experi

4.5 star I was pulled right into this short story. The story has laughs, secrets, and heartbreak. If you have not read the below I would recommend reading those books(s) first Logan (Wild Boys After Dark, #1) Heath (Wild Boys After Dark, #2) This is Laney and Jackson’s story. Jackson and Laney have been friends with benefits for years. No matter if they are with other people or not they are together. When Laney gets a birthday proposal it shakes up everything. Laney has to decide what she wants. Does she want to accept the proposal or keep Jackson? She can’t keep Jackson as close if she is married. What does Jackson want? As they weed through their feelings will they both come up with different plans for the future? Or will there plans match? I loved these characters and also the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. I highly recommend this book.

There is always the one couple that everyone knows belongs together, but it takes them longer to figure it out for themselves. The chemistry, and love between Jackson and Laney was incendiary. Be sure to have your fan or significant other nearby, because this book starts out and finishes Hot!!! As always, Melissa really draws you into the book. I was literally yelling at them to get their heads out of their butts before it was too late, and their love was lost for good. Thankfully Melissa did not disappoint.

Every since I read the first Wild Boys After Dark, I have been enthralled with this series. Jackson does not disappoint. The big question is can Jackson live with himself when his friend with benefits is suddenly an engaged woman. No, Erica hasn't said yes yet but what is it Jackson wants for her and for himself. While this book is book three in a series, it can be read alone but don't do that. All the books are great so pick up all of them and treat yourself.

How hard the mighty fall.........Jackson is a great guy who doesn't think he has what it takes.......Laney is his best friend who knows he does......greatest best friends to couples book ever! Fun hot book! Received an ARC I exchange for an honest review.

I’m beginning to think Melissa Foster is trying to see how many times she can make me fall in love in a short period of time. I hope my heart is up to the task with these Wild boys releasing back to back. I fell hard for Jackson within the first few pages. He is so protective of Laney and just wants to make sure she always feels safe. He has been there for her since she was a teenager. OMG! Don’t even get me started on the tattoo that Jackson has. Jackson and Laney are perfect for each other. The walls and masks are down when they are together unlike with any of their other relationships. That type of connection is something special and Melissa hits the mark conveying it to the reader. Will they realize that what they have is worth committing to before it’s too late? It goes without saying that just like the other Wild brother books, Jackson and Laney are HOT!!! If you loved Logan and Heath you will not be disappointed with Jackson. You have got to read this book!

Jackson's story in Wild Boys After Dark is certainly one of the hotter stories of the series. Laney and Jackson have chemistry off the charts. The story isn't as action packed as Logan's story, but it's very suiting for how Jackson's personality seems. The story is frustratingly good. I found the story frustrating because of Jackson and Laney both seem blind to their feelings for one another. Once they start recognizing those feelings, they're still too stubborn to act or speak up. They'd rather allow the other to have their happiness with someone else than risk their friendship. There's so many times I wanted to shake the two and tell them to wake up or just to speak up. I do love how the story turns out. I received this book to review through Beck Valley Books Book Tours, all the opinions above are 100% my own.

Jackson and Erica are best friends, with benefits. This lifestyle works great for both of them since they proclaim to having commitment issues. That is until Erica’s boyfriend Bryce proposes to her on her birthday. Erica decides she needs time to think about the proposal and will let him know when she gets back from her camping trip with Jackson. Every year Jackson and Erica go on an annual camping trip for her birthday and this year is no exception. While Erica is supposed to be deciding about Bryce’s proposal Jackson and her continue on with their “relationship” like nothing has happened. But as the week continues, Jackson starts pushing Erica away, convinced he is doing her a favor. He could never be faithful to one woman and he doesn’t want to ruin Erica’s chance for a HEA. Like most men, Jackson can’t see that by pushing her away he is hurting her more than anyone and Erica starts wondering if maybe her feeling for Jackson are more than friend deep. This book was another amazing reading by Melissa Foster. If you have read and fell in love with her books in the past you will not be disappointed. You won’t be able to put this quick read down. I received an eARC of this book for my honest review and opinion. All ratings and opinions stated are my own.

When your best friend is of the opposite sex things can get messy. Jackson and Erica are all friends with benefits and are all good with that until that is put on the line. When Erica gets engaged it would mean that their arrangement would end. They could stay friends but no more benefits. This throws Jackson off. He believes that he is not marriage material. He doesn’t want to commit to anyone, but he isn’t wanting Erica to commit either. I found it interesting that feelings can come to the surface when push comes to shove. I believe these two would have continued as they were if Erica did not unintentionally give Jackson a push. It was tough to watch him struggle and see their friendship struggle and almost fall apart. I was praying for a happy ending for these two. If you are familiar with Melissa Foster you have an idea what to expect. Beware that this series is a little hotter and a little sexier. Things are more graphic and the men steamier. I have said that I am in lust with the men in this series.

I almost feel like I could repeat myself over and over when reviewing a book by Melissa Foster, but she hit it out of the park with Jackson's book. I felt the connection between Jackson and Laney from the very beginning - perhaps because their relationship had been developing for so long. But as much as their relationship is about "benefits" as much as it is "friends", their connection is deep. I don't think either of them realized the depth of their connection at the beginning of this book, but their transformation throughout the story was enjoyable to watch. Each has realizations about their relationship with the other, and it rocks what they thought was a solid foundation. There were times that I wanted to smack each of them upside the head and tell them to "catch on" to not only the other's feelings, but their own. The author includes a lot of poignant points in these characters' story - the tattoos that are truly ingenious, the incorporation of the cover photo into their relationship - these are little unique aspects of the story that make the book memorable, and are a hallmark of a Melissa Foster book.

Melissa's newest series Wild Boys After Dark is a bit steamier than her other series but we still get her amazingly well written characters! I really like Laney, she's a woman who is not afraid to tell those around her that she is not ready for something and expects them to accept it or walk away. However, when she a birthday surprise she was NOT expecting that turns her world upside down she faces the decisions that must be made. It may take her a few days to really look at her life & decide what she wants, but once she does - look out world! Jackson to me is a typical male who thinks he's not good enough for the one person everyone else knows is it for him. He just needs is pounded into his head that he is capable of being the man he thinks she deserves.

Jackson’s story is the 3rd in the Wild Boys After Dark series. Another great read from the get go. Full of steamy, hot sexual encounters. Like the others, I enjoyed this story. Although I wanted to slap Jackson upside the head. The saying, “You don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone”, fits perfectly. Jackson and Erica ‘Laney’ have been best friends since High School…with benefits. He is stubborn and doesn’t want to commit to one woman until the one woman he loves is proposed too. He realizes with a lot of angst that he could lose the only woman he’s ever loved…an emotional ride for both Jackson and Laney that ends beautifully. **Generously received an ARC in exchange for an honest review**
