About the Author

Kristen Ashley grew up in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Denver, Colorado and the West Country of England. Thus she has been blessed to have friends and family around the globe. Her posse is loopy (to say the least) but loopy is good when you want to write. Kristen was raised in a house with a large and multi-generational family. They lived on a very small farm in a small town in the heartland and existed amongst the strains of Glenn Miller, The Everly Brothers, REO Speedwagon and Whitesnake (and the wardrobes that matched). Needless to say, growing up in a house full of music, clothes and love was a good way to grow up. And as she keeps growing up, it keeps getting better.

It's a keeper, I could do with more on the storyline and a little less bedroom antics, I mean you read one and you've read them all. I would also point out I hope Rush's story isn't the last.. there's more of these chaos brother's stories that i would really like to read about..

Kristen Ashley is one of my favorite Mc authors along with Joanna Wylde Reaper's series. I have to say this was my favorite book of Chaos series. Hound is my favorite character bc he love Keely for very long time but would not tell her bc he thought he could not have her due to the brotherhood. He gave everything to them and to Keely and her sons. Keely finally realized that she was ready to finally live the life should of done after Black's death. They kept a secret for awhile but wanted to be together. There is a bonus at the end and can't wait for Rush's story but I hope Kristen tells Dutch & Jagger's stories too. I just love this series and do not want it to end.

I love all her series.....but ride is by far my favorite. I can only hope there is a 2nd generation coming soon.

Not the most epic for me, but was enough to get me ready for Rush's book. First 35% of this is bow-chicka- wowow, but last half gets better. Great edition to the series.

MC romance novels are not my typical fare, but when a novel comes out by Kristen Ashley I always pre-order. This one didn’t sit too long on my virtual shelf because Tack, the leader of the Chaos motorcycle club is one of my favorite characters, he and Tyra’s story, Motorcycle Man is my go to Alpha male/sassy chick read. I did get a little of Tack and Tyra in Wild Like the Wind, but the couple this book focus’s on is Hound and Keely. Now, Hound is a pretty familiar character. He’s been involved in quite a few of our other Chaos novels, but Keely has not entered this realm. Or so I thought! Keely is actually the widow of Black, the Chaos member who died years ago and who all of the members have tattooed in memorandum somewhere on their body. As an ex-Chaos members wife, Keely should be off limits to another brother, but Hound has been in love with her since he set eyes on her. For that reason their story was pretty tenderhearted. (Key the sound of cars crashing and tires squealing. Yes! It was tenderhearted, in an Alpha biker kind of way!) The story of Hound and Keely’s love blooming is sweet and gentle, but those sex scenes. Wow! I was a little, ummm, uncomfortable with some of these details? Yes, we are talking biker babe and grunting not very emotive biker guy. I assume they have hard core sex, but somehow my vision of their love story and Ms. Ashley’s didn’t travel the same path. I was a little disappointed! Look, I am a huge fan and I know what you get when you read a KA novel, but I don’t know. I had a problem with the sex scenes getting in the way of the story in this novel. So, I skimmed through most of them, which was about 200 pages of this novel. The actual love story was really sweet though, and I loved their story! Soooo, if you took out those 200 pages of miscellaneous sex scenes and stick to the story of how Hound and Keely overcame their Chaos brothers objections, fell in love and got their HEA, it was pretty damned good. ❤️❤️❤️❣️

Disappointed...this one didn't do it for me. Not much story and waaay too much sex. Gets old and tiresome.

This is the latest book of this great, fun, and wild series. Love how these books pull your stringa and play with your emotions. The characters would feel so real. Great characters and I was happy to see how Hound truly is. Total shocker because I had a different perspective on the man he was..not bad ..but never thought he would be the nicest and most thoughful man in this series. Love this book like all the others. Look very forward for the next as well as am sad that it will be the last to thia great series. Thank you for this series, and thank you for sharing your creativity with us!

Loved this book. Amazing how the beginnings of Tack's Chaos have been leading to this ending. The only complaint that I have is what happened to Snapper, which still didn't get explained. Keely and Hound are are the ultimate Chaos couple, even more so that Kane and Tyra. Wow. Loved how we see the softer sides of the Chaos men for their women. Can't wait for Rush and Rebel's book. Sad to see the series ending.

“Rounding it up to” 4 Stars It is no secret that Kristen Ashley is the one who brought us, Edgy girls, together. Not only for her fabulous storytelling, she’s earned a special place in my heart due to what I got through her: the best two friends a girl could want. Chaos is a series we’ve all loved, and Wild Like the Wind was much awaited by us. My high expectations played a bit to the feeling of disappointment when it was not everything I was hoping it would be. That said, the fact that we get to visit with the Chaos’ Brothers and their old ladies went a long way towards soothing my feelings. Keely being the old lady of a brother lost in the worst way, she’s always been off-limits to Hound. 18 years is a long time to pine after someone. When Hound finally decides to move on, Keely realizes she’s wasted almost two decades ignoring her feelings towards him. So she decides to do something about it and seduces Hound (not that he put too much of a fight). I can’t believe I’m saying this but, I felt there was waaaaaay too much sex. After finishing, I wish there had been less sex and more time focusing on the action aspect of the story. Also, the way their hook-up/fuck-buddy/affair pseudo-relationship progresses wasn’t my favorite part. Sadly, to me, the whole relationship angst felt forced and it could have been dealt with in a whole different way. The strong focus in their boudoir shenanigans meant that the bad guy’s screen time was minimal… and again, not up to our expected KA standards. Another let down was that it seemed all the bada**es of the Denver metro area seemed to have lost their bada**ness. At one point I was hoping to get to see Sylvie in action which would have made up for the lackluster action. Even when, in my personal opinion, a book isn’t her best, Ms. Ashley’s writing maintains its quality of keeping you glued to the pages. I loved Jean, the loveliest of lovely old ladies, and her relationship with Hound. I totally got that he needed someone to be the recipient of the immense amount of love he had to give, and I wish she’d have gotten to stick around to lord over the rest of the bada** bikers. That would have been a blast, and I felt that using her as the catalyst for Hound and Keely’s first drama was a total waste of an amazing character. Dutch and Jagger, Keely’s sons, were another fabulous addition to the Chaos world and I loved them to pieces. Their love, their honor, their loyalty all blew me away. I’m hoping really, really hard we get to see their stories. Bev and her sporty-biker Tad were another bright light in the story. In fact, the boys and Tad, especially the hilariousness surrounding Bev and Tad’s relationship, ended up being my favorite part of the book. Visiting Chaos, getting to witness Keely, Hound, Dutch and Jagger actually becoming the family in truth that they had mostly been already was wonderful. And although I can’t say Wild Like the Wind is my favorite in the series I still had a great time reading it and being back in its world.

Spoilers below. Loved getting the back story on how Tack cleaned up Chaos and Hound and Keely's story. Sad that the next book will be the end, but happy to see Rush find love,!

Amazing! Everything about this was phenomenal. The intensity, the drama, the heat, love, the healing, the brotherhood and family. Every detail pulled me in and consumed me. I loved it all! I don't know if I can convey everything I feel after reading this. There were so many layers and so much depth. The story was well laid out with this incredible build and I hung on every word. I love how the POVs and time line were set up, giving me just what I needed at just the right time. I swear during the prologue I held my breath, so intense! I read most of it with tears in my eyes not breathing. From there it didn't stop. It was just wow the entire time. I absolutely loved Hound. Getting to know him, the man behind the gruff, what made him tick. He was just so incredible, caring and loving, but also dealing with his own kind of pain. And Keely, oh my gosh I adored Keely! Such a strong woman. She was bold, devoted and determined and basically kicked butt. The two of them together? Amazing! Keely and Hound’s story, learning about them, watching the push and pull between them, seeing them open up was crushing and painful and beautiful and filled with so much hope. It was incredibly emotional and intense. I got choked up and teary eyed more times that I can count. The build to their growing relationship is wonderful There were so many things that made this an incredible story. The relationships that Hound had, the one we learn about in the beginning which is touching beyond belief, Keely's boys, (seriously! her boys are the bomb!) the brothers, and Keely's love for her husband and Hounds love and respect for him. Let’s not forget the on going Chaos drama that's been happening over the course of the series. There were so many incredible and well thought out details pertaining to that, even a few things I didn't see coming and I enjoyed the build to it all. The writing was stellar. It flowed beautifully, pulling me in, captivating me. Kristen Ashley is one of my all time favorite story tellers. This story is very much about love, moving on, healing, family, and brotherhood. I thought this was absolutely incredible. There's something amazing when the world around you truly fades away and you loose yourself into a whole other world. Thank you KA!

I am a huge fan, i feel half the story is missing. Keely didn't get kidnapped or really need Hound to rescue her. I missed that drama. I know us fans are always clamoring for more books, I would rather wait a little longer and gat a more thought out book. Never a waste to get a KA book. This one was a little bit of a let down.

First I would like to say I am a huge KA fan. I gave this book a 3 and would like to try and explain why. This is strictly my opinion . I had high expectations for this book and I feel a bit let down. I needed more from this book, For me the beginning was slow and I didn’t think I would ever say to much sex but I am going to. That’s all there is to the beginning then things start to pick up and it felt rushed to me, because you learn so many things in this book and I did not feel like they got the attention they deserved. Then some really big crap happens I don’t feel it got the time needed, and boom done off to the happy ending. Do not misunderstand me I liked the book and if you follow this series you need to read it, for me I just needed more story line and chaos. I also felt a “loose end with Boz”” I hope this review is taken as it meant, which is to let the author know why I gave it only a 3. I could go into so much more detail but that would give spoilers so I tried to just generalize.

Loved Hound and Keekee! Great sex scenes and Hound was another perfect KA alpha hero. Loved the little glimpses of characters from past series too. She finished this with a teaser from upcoming Rush's story to close out the series- please say it isn't so!

Loved the whole story. Dialogue is great. A little too much sexy time. I do love the afterglow cuddles and talks.

I love all the Chaos books. My favorite is "Walk Through Fire" followed by "Motorcyle Man". Hound and Keely's story is now my third fav. All of the books in this series are really good but I'm partial to second-chance-at-love stories. Joker's and Shy' is up there as well. I think Hound and Keely's consumation of love was appropriately hot and frequent. A forbidden love that was almost two decades in the making had to explode into a hungry passion for each other. They were ravenous for one another and I think the author demonstrated that perfectly. Their story was heartbreaking, courageous, passionate and beautiful. I was sad when their story ended. Loved that Millie and High got a cameo, as well as getting more insight into a few of the brothers. A great story leaving me wanting more, as only Ms. Ashley can do.
