Overview

Bri Martin likes her skirts too short, her heels too high, and trouble close at hand. So when big, brooding underground boxer Luke Turner comes into the bar where she works and starts a fight before she brings his first drink, she can't help being intrigued. Luke is everything she never wanted and everything she can't resist.

Soon, Luke is showing up everywhere Bri is, and she can't break free of his hold on her, nor does she want to. When her best friend turns on her, it's Luke who is there. When Luke's opponent comes after her to send Luke a message, it's he who comes to her rescue.

Before Bri knows it, she's caught in the midst of a rivalry between her boyfriend and her boss, both of whom are not content to settle their scores inside the ring. She swore she'd never live this life, so like the one she once ran from. But only by confronting her past can she decide where her future lies…and whether Luke can be a part of it.

Loved this one so much I had to. Don't let the non-sample stop you. This book is funny and grabs you from page one. Couldn't put it down.

There wasn't any feedback on this book but I went out on a limb & purchased it anyway.... glad I did! If your looking for a short read, a love story with some road blocks, this is your book! It has comedy intertwined with moments you wish you could yell & have the main characters hear your frustration with them. I hope all who buy this book enjoy it just as much!

Awesome story....couldn't put it down until I was done. Loved Bri and Luke together. It was nice to see a heroine who was just as capable and tough as the hero. The writing blew me away. Def recommend.

I liked this one a lot. Writing could have been more polished, but the stor was pretty great. I liked the different take on the typical bad boy story. The heroine was just as badass! I'm definitely interested to see where it goes from here. A fighter and a hellcat - this is like the ultimate badass blue collar, real love story.

Was not into the characters and lack of emotion...or emotion of a 5 year old.

Both Bri and Luke are shown to alot more pent up aggression than your average new adult read. It came across as a refreshing change to see that type of female character as ready to kick ass as the depicted male. The very title - The Wild Ones - befits them as individuals very well. Issues aplenty in this jam packed drama novella, perhaps some of the scenes were abit OTT for me, but still a book that gripped my attention all the way through. *Arc kindly provided by the publisher via netgalley*

The free sample only shows 5 pgs. which shows none of the book... what's the deal with that? Show some of the book and I might purchase this!!
