★¸¸.•*¨*•★Minor spoilers alert★•*¨*•.¸¸★ Format read & purchased: e-book copy Writing style: Dual POVs Cover gush: So far, so good. Layla’s cover designer did another nice job with this one. Story Rating ★★★★☆ What I enjoyed most about this contemporary romance novel… Witty / Steamy / Easy-to-read / Entertaining / Single parent trope / Wonderful characters / Romantic / HEA My Top Favorite Moments / Scenes were… Well, honestly, I had a lot of them. So many that it is hard to choose only a couple of them, but the below two get the honors. I like how they contrast in tone and how they demonstrate the progress Lori made from the beginning to the end of the novel. ‘Before Graham, no man had made me want to dip my toe in the dating pool. Would this be a good idea? The man was disenchanted with marriage; he’d admitted it himself. But did it really matter? As my sisters realistically put it, dating led nowhere most of the time. It was a fun thing to do, and I hadn’t had fun in a long time. Was it time for changes in my life? Could I handle them?’ Lori ❤❤❤ “I don’t think my body can handle so much sexiness first thing in the morning,” I whispered, curling in his arms. “Practice makes perfect.” “I could definitely get used to it... with more practice. And since today is a lazy day...” ❤❤❤ In addition to wooing over Lori, Graham was also great with Lori’s son Milo. He and Milo had several really adorable moments as well. In the past couple of years, I’ve really become a snail e-book reader. I hate that I failed to post a review of the e-ARC I’d originally received. But my life activities often get in the way as was the case this time. Still, I enjoyed every reading session I carved out to experience vicariously what it was like for event planner Lori to meet her match in Graham and fall head over heels in love. Overall, I prefer to savor a novel rather than inhale it, so I just have to accept that often means taking way longer than I’d like to live through every moment in a very entertaining novel. •*¨*• Coming up next: Meant for You (The Connor Family #3), available November 13, 2018 Author Layla Hagen never disappoints me, so I’m excited for Will’s novel next. Will is Lori’s cop brother. I suspect his story will be all kinds of interesting since being a cop is such a complicated profession.

Favorite Quotes: I was sporting a grin that took up my entire face—the kind of photo dentists might display in their waiting room. We're not doomed to repeat our parents' mistakes, you know. Or I'll end up with a bad perm after the age of sixty, or a slight wine addiction. Or both. Imagine the horror." My Review: I adored this couple, and what a treat to read a story where the characters aren’t in constant conflict or turmoil but are happy and playfully enjoying and supporting each other instead. It was gratifying and a welcome respite for my bruised coronary muscle. The storylines were engaging and relevant while the characters were endearing, enticing, and bright and shiny. The writing was entertaining and delightfully amusing with witty and bawdy banter. The pairing of Lori and Graham was dynamic and vibrant as both characters were independent, strong, and successful and secure in their careers although lacking in their social lives. Their attraction was instant, their chemistry was unmistakable, their passion was volcanic, and their story was pleasantly enjoyable and oh, so, sweet. I am simply loving her new series and can’t wait to see what this crafty scribbler does with the rest of the large Connor clan.

I was so excited that our author, Layla Hagen has not stopped writing and giving us books from this amazing and wonderful family. Yes we ran out of brothers and sisters with the original bunch so we have moved on to the cousins. No worries at all these are just as hot as the first bunch and we even get to catch up with the Bennetts. In this book we have a wedding and event planner named Lori who happens to be a single mother of an adorable son Milo. The dad is out of the picture like WAY out. Lori meets Graham when she is hired to take plan the wedding of his best friends. Graham is paying for the event and as best man he decided to handle the the decisions too. If you have read any of Layla Hagen's books you know she can give us a great book that leaves you with a smile on your face and a feeling are standing and watching it all play out yourself. I am so ready for the next book. So i guess I will have to re-read all the Bennetts until then.

I got swept up in this single mom romance. Lori has built an amazing business planning weddings and parties, creating a wonderful life for her son Milo. She has the help of her siblings, the Connor family, that have an incredible bond following the loss of their parents as children. When she is asked to plan a wedding on short notice for her brother Jace’s team owner, she jumps at the chance, always up for a challenge. Graham doesn’t believe in relationships but when he meets Lori, he is captivated by this woman’s strength and confidence. She shows him someone that isn’t attracted to his bank account, she actually doesn’t appear to be interested I him. Well, Graham loves a challenge too so he pulls out all the stops to get under Lori’s skin. I loved the connection between Lori and Graham as professionals first, there is a true respect for each other’s jobs as they work on the wedding. Add in the sexual tension and all the family drama, and well, I was completely sucked into their romance.

The Connor Family path to romance is getting better and better with each book. This is the second book of the series and is all about Lori Connor. Lori is the middle sister in the family and a single mother. She is an event organizer and met Graham Frazier through work. Graham is a soccer club owner and is disillusioned by marriage after his divorce. This is a book about two people who face a second chance at love, they both have been burnt in other relationships and now have another opportunity to find love. The book is adorable and the interactions of Graham with Lori's family and son are so fun and with such love and affection. I love Layla Hagen's writing and stories, she does know how to tell a good romance with wonderful characters. Looking forward to the next one.

I just love reading this author's series. They pull you in from the first book, and we become so invested in the characters that they feel like our family. This book is no different. I love the Connor family as much as the Bennett family, and we are only on book two. I can't wait for the rest of the siblings' stories.

When life doesn't go quite how we planned, it's the bumps in the road that point us in the right direction. Graham and Lori hit a few walls before they found themselves where they needed to be. Wild with You takes a look at the road less traveled. Lori had big dreams, but her dreams veered off course when she was given her greatest blessing. Her little boy. In that instant she found the courage to begin again and create a secure life for herself and her child. When Graham comes into her life, his bruises are a lot less visible, but no less traumatic. Somehow they find the strength to take a risk on an emotion that was not kind the first time around, but could be the start of something beautiful this time. Hagen firmly ensconces a place within the heart of her readers with heartwarming tales and hard to forget characters.
