With the pen as a sword: Texts of Greek women of the 19th century about the War of Independence of 1821

The present anthology is an attempt to highlight the work of these mostly forgotten women related to the Revolution of 1821, in which their collective consciousness is validated. In these texts, female heroism is captured in all its aspects: heroic heroism, heroism of female victims and heroism of women who help in the background in the preparation of the Struggle.
