How it works
Word Smash is simple to learn. Two words are smashed together to form two new words with some letters overlapping each. The last few letters of the first word become the first few letters of the second word.
Each page has 6 word pairs you need to smash together. The first letters of the first word and the last letters of the second word are already given. Simply figure out which missing letters fit between them so as to create two new words.
An example of a word smash might be HIGH . . . WARD, where the word in between would be WAY, to make the new words HIGHWAY & WAYWARD.
Depending on the section of the book, the missing letters that join the two words is either a 5-letter word, a 4-letter word or a combination of 3-letters, which may or many not be an actual word.
After every 8 pages of Word Smash puzzles, there are a couple of different puzzles and games to make completing the book more interesting.
In addition to the 288 Word Smash 2 puzzles, there are dozens of other fun puzzles and games from Bounce Learning Kids included.
