Great for gift giving. Good for any woman. But particularly one who thinks she has to do it all and do it perfect. Or someone going through a rough time (maybe a break up). Put in perspective that we need to rely on God. Kristin Armstrong talks to you like a great girlfriend. I highly recommend this inspiring book.

Armstrong touches up on the topics of beauty, confidence, softness, trust, truth, generosity, forgiveness, courage, diligence, wisdom, authenticity, and freedom. I found her use of Bible verses throughout her book and her interpretations of them relating to various situations in life to be very helpful in better understanding them. Amazing to me how books always pop into my life at different moments when I most need them for some particular purpose.

Wasn't certain what type of book I was expecting but over all I enjoyed the messages in this book. There were more religious undertones than I normally care for but read past them to the messages Kristin was trying to send. We don't all have the additional resources in our lives that she does - so her 'struggles" might not be as easy to relate to as the rest of us buying this book. Full of encouraging comments and self-reflection that can't hurt anyone looking to rise above the challenges they find in journey of life.
