Eighty feet beneath the surface of the Gulf of Mexico I calmly waited with a spear gun pointed at the reef for a huge Grouper fish to emerge. Above me was a sport fishing boat with several baited lines dangling tasty hooks of squid three feet above the reef. The large experienced Grouper poked his head from the reef to spy the appealing bait. He ignored the trap and quietly settled back in his hole. After seventeen years of marriage and a three year divorce court battle I found myself thrust into the dating world like a lamb into the lion’s den.
