About the Author

Robyn Holbert lives in the rolling hills of Amish country in Dalton, Ohio. She graduated from Muskingum University with an undergraduate degree in English and Secondary Education. Many years later, she got her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Ashland University. In those interim years between degrees, she taught English for 30 years in another little town called Smithville, and before that, she was a cocktail waitress, a pickle packer in a factory, a church organist, a paper boy, a professional singer in a trio called The Average White Broads, and so on. She is now happily retired for the past 15 years and lives in the woods with her extremely talented husband Patrick who is a chainsaw sculptor. They have been married 41 years, and they hope to hit their 50th anniversary before either of them drops dead. Fingers crossed!
