About the Author

I might be the least romantic person I know, but when I'm writing, I’m all about the happy endings and the love conquering all business. I’ll leave it to the higher talents to shock and amaze and terrorize you … or rip your heart out, if you like that sort of thing. From me, you’ll just find some good hot man lovin’ and a story that (hopefully) leaves you with a smile on your face.

I wanted to like this, but the "twist" didn't work for me. I'll refrain from saying what that twist is, in case someone reading this wants to read the story for themselves. I have this thing where I like my stories to make sense. If they are not logical within the story (for example, a character is named Steve, and then the name changes to Bob just because the author forgot the character's name, that's a problem; if someone is gets into a car, and then a few paragraphs later exits a mini-van, that's a problem). That's the kind of problem I have with this story. The dramatic twist at the end does not make sense, is not possible, because we've been told from the opening to the story that it is not possible. If I explain more, it would give that twist away, so again, I will refrain. It's a decent enough story, and the writing itself is quite good, but it needs a bit of editing or a new draft to set up that twist - or remove the twist entirely.
