This was such a wonderfully written story. It captivated and enthralled me to the very end. I absolutely could not stop reading and I can't wait to read more. Anyone who loves to read different takes on vampire stories will love to read this one as it has so many different elements though still being a vampire and werewolf story in itself will absolutely love this book.

Captivating story line and a must read! I read this entire book in 2 days because I absolutely could NOT put it down. I am already looking forward to the next book in the series. I have spoken with this author and she absolutely LOVES what she does and it shows in her work.

Meet the Author

Jesse now lives in a small town in the middle of nowhere. She moved from the chaos of Los Angeles. Yes, she misses it. It is not uncommon for her to be asked why she moved from such a busy place to the one horse town- the answer is simply to allow her kids to grow up with their grandparents.

Jesse has studied anthropology and used her “education” as an excuse to hang out with vampires- her masters' thesis was going to be modern vampire culture. They really do exist. Vampires have been her obsession since she was about five years old when she swears she was bitten by one.

She enjoys reading and writing. But most importantly being a crazy mom to her son, new daughter, and ever growing pet family. Singing silly songs at the top of her lungs and embarrassing her son is one of her favorite activities. She considers herself to be an odd duck.

    Loved this!

I think this book would be good for anyone in 8th grade or higher. I really loved this story. I fell in love over and over with Dom and Mike. I also felt like I was Em, the writing was so descriptive. I felt exactle what Em felt, when she felt it. When she was angry, I was mad. When she was confused, I was right there with her. When she was... Well, you get the point. I loved this book and really hope that Mr. Kimmel-Freeman writes another book with the same characters.

Great storyline--If you like Twilight, you will love this book!

I have read all the Twilight books and other vampire novels from other authors, but I have to say this one is my favorite. The characters are so easy to relate to and understand the different personalities. I loved how Dom's character morphed from the beginning when he was a jerk to being one of the most romantic characters of the book. I like Mike as well, but I'm not for him after how he treated Emma. It is a quick read, I couldn't put it down, and it is easy to read as well no hidden meanings or long suspenseful questions that will be answered later in sequels. It was all there in black and white. I enjoyed it and I hope you will too. Highly recommend.

    Great Book

This is a great novel from first time author Jesse Kimmel-Freeman. Her characters are well drawn and you root for each of them. Michael, Emma and Dom, each make you care for them and their problems. Jesse keeps the suspense high. If you like the Twilight books you'll like this one. Keep them coming Jesse.

    Great Read, amazing

This book is great, no matter how many times i read it. It still feels new. I love how in depth the story is and how strong the characters are. You fall in love with a life not a story. No meak main character here. Compared to Belle Notte, twilight is a quick boring read with the reader knowing whats going to happen all along. With this book you are as excited as opening a suprise gift. I love this book!
