Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Children's Literature
When Sasha goes to visit her cousin, Oliver, he refuses to play with her because she is too little. Sasha protests that she's not too little to ride a bike, or to go to the store, or to win skating prizes, but Oliver is not impressed. However, he does suggest they have a few friendly competitions while he waits for his friend Juliet to arrive. Of course, Oliver's snowman is bigger than Sasha's and his snow fort is taller and stronger than hers. Oliver also challenges Juliet and unfortunately for him, she consistently wins. Bragging that no one can beat her, Juliet races Sasha on skates. When Juliet's rocket skates backfire, Sasha comes to the rescue. The friendly rivalry will be familiar to many readers.
