This story has enough twists and turns, but not to many to loose you. How could a story that start's with a Biker, an Indian and a Dwarf at the door be bortng? I plan to read more from this author.
Resurrection Blues is an entertaining book from start to finish. The author invents story lines so interesting that the reader is taken on a Utopian fantasy trip filled with carousels, roller coasters, swamps, strip clubs, mobsters, and IRS agents. I can't wait for the sequel!
Very entertaining book. The author has a very unique way of getting your attention and then holding it through out the book. He does it with a dry sence of humor and a strange cast of characters. The wierd thing is I felt I have known these people all my life. The book kept me chuckling till the very end. Had a hard time putting it down to go to sleep
Very entertaining, humorous, and a real page-turner. However, a sequel is needed(and I understand one is in the works!) There are too many unanswered questions re: sub-plots and happenstance of the characters. The author has an extraordinary writing talent.
Resurrection Blues is a wonderful, lighthearted, intriguing story about ordinary people in an extraordinary set of circumstances. Multiple storylines, involving tax evasion, strip clubs, love affairs, and blackmail, converge on a secrete society in a hidden Alabama valley, where people live in a modern-day Utopia. The imaginative tale and the colorful and witty language keeps you glued to the pages from start to finish. Read it and laugh.
