I knew immediately there was magic when I found a vegetarian recipe for stuffed grape leaves. I received this book and read it almost non-stop all the way through! I loved the story line as much as the tantalizing recipes! I even found Our Gramma Grace's Armenian Rice Pilaf. Well, it might not be the same but it looks similar. You see, my Brother-in-law was Armenian and his sweet Mother made the most delicious food. Her pilaf was primo! What I loved most about this book is the message that touched my heart and and brought tears to my eyes! "There really is NO Place like home!" Food for the Heart and Soul! Thank you so much Nancy Mehagian for sharing touching your story and life adventures!

Nancy Mehagian has captured the spirit of the 1960's in this book. I was going to read it on vacation but once I began I couldnt stop. The recipes are great. I only wish there were more. Like a fabulous meal, I cant wait for the next one.
