    Deeply satisfying

Jesus told a parable in which a man went and sold all he had to buy a pearl of great price. He was talking about God and us. God indeed gave all he had, his very life, to redeem us. We are the pearl of great price. This book helps us to connect better with the great truths of the Bible. It touches us in a deep way. It helps us to really know deeply that we are the pearl of great price, and to deeply feel God's great heart of love for us and the great romance that He wants to draw us up into. This book helps us to make sense of the slings and arrows of this world, and to put it all into perspective. It gives us solid reasons for hope and joy and peace. It helps us to live in the security and delight of a lover (God) who will not quit pursuing us, because He delights in us, and because He made us to live in personal relationship with Him. This book talks to us at both the head and heart level. It speaks consistently at both levels. It is deeply satisfying at both levels. Through the power of God, it can change the way we think and feel and live. This book is a workbook and journal that relates to and explains the earlier book, 'The Sacred Romance,' by Curtis and Eldredge. I read the earlier book first and liked it a lot. This workbook has kicked my understanding up a few notches. If you liked the earlier book, don't miss this workbook and journal. If you haven't read the earlier book, I think perhaps you might do well to just go straight to this workbook and journal.

    Reveals the Heart of God

The Sacred Romance ministered to me and opened my heart to the Love God has for me during a time of grief and crisis. Since then I have given five or six copies away to others who have been blessed by the message this book brings to each reader. I would recommend this book to anyone who desires to draw near to the heart of God and who seeks to be loved.
