Zoe Carter

This is just a bad dream that I will wake up from. Sobbing, I prayed that this was just a dream. Actually, no, make that a nightmare. Forcing my eyes shut, I willed for it to be just a truly scary dream. However when I opened my eyes, I realized that nothing had changed. My legs were gone, and I was still lying in my hospital bed. Without anyone having to say anything, I, Zoe Carter, knew that one thing was for sure. My life, as I knew it, had changed forever.
