A Boot in the Boutonni�re: translated and annotated by Chris Sawyer

New English translations of Bruno Jasieński's 1921 futurist poems, presented with a continuous annotation apparatus. The poems move through urban modernity-cafés, cinemas, hospitals, factories-mixing slang, brand names, and multilingual fragments. The translations preserve collision and estrangement rather than smoothing tone or meter. Notes document references without forcing interpretation.
