Connie Fugedy Cottingham grew up in Rogers, Arkansas, spending her allowance at the first Walmart, loving Susie-Q fries, and roller skating and swimming at Lake Atalanta Park. After living in Little Rock, New Orleans, and Georgia, she returned to her NW Arkansas roots, family, and friends, less than 15 minutes from Bentonville and Rogers. Connie’s writing career started with a weekly garden column in the Northwest Arkansas Morning News.
