The poetic diary of a marriage lasting half a century, this collection sketches out the life and times of Ken and Judith Lauter. They met in 1965 in a poetry writing seminar taught by Donald Hall (US poet laureate, 2006–2007) at the University of Michigan, where they both won Hopwood Awards for poetry. They have lived in Tucson, Denver, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, and their current home, Nacogdoches, Texas.
