This journal is a gift to us all.
I was able to read a pre launch version of Kim Richardson"s 52 Weeks of Gratitude. The book is divided into manageable sections taking only 30 minutes to 1 hour a week. There is no pressure to work ahead, do not do that, savor it. This can be a welcome habit like chatting with a friend. Go ahead and color where indicated, it will relax you and help you release the clutter from your mind enabling you to feel calm and allow the thoughts of gratitude to fill your sense of well being. Knowing that each week is a new authors story gives you the anticipation to read/hear a new perspective of directing feelings of gratitude. You will not have known how to predict the next chapter, wait for it, it's like meeting a new friend each week. If you feel connected to learn more from any of the entrants, they provide information, via websites or emails to connect with them.
I really enjoyed this, book. I found it opened my heart and allowed gratefulness in. The stories (1 per week, start any week of the year) were not always the fluffy type, they made me think and feel. I found I was far more positive after reading a story a week and it opened my eyes. Immensely readable and brave. Highly recommended!
Great read! This book is a fun way to remind you to see the best in everything everyday. The stories will draw you in and are real and authentic. I love the coloring and journal portion...it makes FUN.
I loved the 52 opportunities to read, reflect, write and even color with prompts that pulled you into the writer's world and then into your own. Beautifully gathered, this journal allows for spending time with others, ultimately offering a way to self. There is no question, a gratitude muscle is strengthened after 52 weeks.
