My Music, My Lyrics, My Song

Music provided me with a voice; the lyrics spoke what I couldn't or didn't have the opportunity to say. The music, lyrics, and songs of others aided in my emotional sanity growing up. Each poem is a song. Multiple expressions from my soul that took years of exploration to find. Longing to be the next Langston Hughes, I finally realized being me is just fine.
