About the Author
Sheila Cayolle, a native of New Orleans, received her Master's degree in Education Administration at the University of New Orleans. Throughout her teaching career, she served as a teacher of gifted students, a mentor teacher, an educational technology facilitator, and an adjunct professor at Southern University at New Orleans. Twice, she was awarded the distinction of being named as one of Who's Who Among America's Teachers. She began writing poetry in 1997. Her first poem, "Summer Rain," was published by the International Library of Poetry. It is in the anthology entitled A Montage of Life. "Summer Rain" became the inspiration for her award-winning children's book, Morning Rain. Sheila currently resides in Georgia.
