The road to hell is paved with bad dates.
After a magical mishap with my ex-boyfriend, you can't blame me for being a little skittish about relationships. But work is all kinds of stressful, so I'm venturing out into the supernatural dating scene.
Dating supernaturals isn't for the faint of heart, however, nor is it for witches like me who are totally incompetent with magic. So, I need a dating Sherpa, STAT. Surprisingly enough, I find one in a vampire woman named Wren.
Each date presents its own weird challenges, and it's just my luck that one of them has the potential to unleash something that could destroy our little town of Assjacket, West Virginia and everyone in it.
With the help of my new kick-ass vampire friend, a sexy AF bodyguard, a rat, a cat, and a warlock named Pete, I have no choice but to stop being a screwup and save the town. If I ever want nookie again, that is.

Dating Disasters 101 ~~~ Mysti Parker writes fun and funny novels. This outing, set in the Magic and Mayhem world, introduces you not just to witches but to all sorts of paranormals, and proves that dating is not for the weak. If this were "just" a romance, there are a lot of elements that would have you rolling on the floor. But, no, there's a mystery here plus a witch who doesn't know how to work her magic. Fair warning, there are a lot of body parts, euphemistically described, as things heat up, but no dull slot A and tab B instructional manuals, thank you very much. Enjoy!
A Dating Survival Guide for Witches is a cute book with lots of supernatural characters doing their thing. Some of the story is a bit weird but is rather enjoyable. Our heroine wants to find someone to love and someone to love her. Her dating trials are a real hoot. Yet when one of her dates turns out to be a demon that wants to destroy her town she must find her witch and save the day. If you like quirky paranormal stories this is definitely the book you. So read and enjoy. I received this ARC from the author and I am volunteering writing this fair and balanced review
i read this book as part of an arc program. Carly is a witch who owns her grandmother's toy store and lives with a ghost and her former boyfriend Ben, who she turned into a rat. Carly can't use her magic and she is tired of being alone, so she decides she wants to start dating again. When Carly meets a blind date at a local bar, she doesn't know what is worse, the bar or her date. Carly befriends a vampire named Wren and Wren offers to help Carly find love. Carly also learns someone is trying to get the antique toys in her store she was told never to sell. Wren offers Carly a bodyguard to help protect the toys until they can find out who wants them and why. This was a very funny book. I laughed a lot and i think if it could go wrong for Carly it would. I really like the strange group of characters in this book and loved how Ben and Carly were still close friends. I think carly needed to believe in herself and she would find love. Great one.
