This is the first novel I've read by Angie Daniels and I couldn't put it down! It was excitingly erotic, yet had just enough sweet sensuality for the hopeless romantic. The passion and heat between Reggie and Berlin just leapt off the pages. Definitely needed some ice water and my hubby near by when I read this one. Reggie was a brotha that definitely had it goin' on. He had a booming business and he wasn't lacking in the personality or looks department and knew how to pour on the romance and was very talented in the bedroom. This was a very well written story. Can't wait to read more from Ms. Daniels.

Sassy office manager Berlin Dupree introduces us into her life with the line, Tonight I'm going to kiss Santa Claus. And does she ever! The thing is, she's not kissing the Santa she thought she was. She thinks she's hooking up with Dr. Clark, who on paper is the perfect mate for her. Instead, the man who filled in for Dr. Clarke and who's making it work for her is the handyman. Or is he? This book is full of hot juicy sex, a dilemma of mistaken identity, and a character who has to choose between what she wants, and what she thinks she wants. What I liked about this book: the main character Berlin, her love interest Reginald, and even her dopey wanna-be boyfriend Dr. Clark, fully drawn characters, each with their own story arc and conflict. I also loved the hot hot sex. What was challenging about this book: the dilemma that puts Berlin at Reginald's mercy, so to speak, felt a bit contrived. I also felt it would have been a stronger conflict if Dr. Clark hadn't been quite such a dweeb.

Is there a squeal in the works. Does Berlin and Reggie get married? What happen next?

Eight- Marry a doctor. Nine-Start a family. Ten- Retire and relocate to Florida. Is she a step closer in accomplishing her task? Maybe, but reading this book gave me all the answer I needed to know. From the beginning of this book you have discovered that a mistaken identity on Santa¿s lap has done a number on Berlin that turn out to be a necessity in her life. Berlin wont settle for anything less no matter how good Reginald makes her feel while she pursues a doctor (Reginald friend) who she thinks is her lottery ticket, even though her best friend Arianna is determined to prove to her that Reginald is the better man for her life. ¿A Delight Before Christmas¿ doesn¿t consist of a hefty plot or a lot of drama but the heat between Reginald and Berlin carries the story right along. Throughout this story Ms. Daniels does a wonderful job of developing the chemistry between these two main characters but not so for the secondary characters who all seem one dimensional to me. Berlin puts up enough resistance to put on a good chase but not so much that you become frustrated. The sex scenes throughout this book are warm and sensual just in time for the holidays. I must say that I was very excited to get my hand on this book even though it took me a little bit longer to pick it up, but I was able to read it all in one day. Ms. Daniels proves to be consisted in what she does and also provides an easy steady pace in her storyline. For those of you who know her this is a must read and for those who are just curious I recommend on grabbing a copy.
