The author did it again with love and humor. I have never laughed so hard as I do reading this family saga. As stressful as life is...Humor for me with my small amount of alone time reading...Is. A. Gift!!

Eh...Gabby still with the damn annoying giggles...once again...that's not cute at all, either laugh or hold it in, but you're a grown damn woman not a child to be giggling all the time! Anyway..this was a nice followup, holiday stories usually are. Grey really needs to let up and let loose before he ends up either in the psyche ward or in the morgue, that dude is too high strung when it comes to Gabby. Speaking of which, she is a brave woman having so many babies, because damn! Getting preggers when your babies aren't even six months old, I don't know whether to high five her or just slap some common sense into her! BTW...whoever couldn't put together Cade and Daniel's relationship is a total dumbass! SR

A McLendon Christmas is book two in The McLendon Family Saga series by D.L. Roan. In book one I completely fell in love with this family. These three men love their wife so much. A woman is lucky to even have one husband to love her like that but three of them! About a year and a half has passed since the ending of book one. The boys are now eight years old and four months ago Gabby gave birth to twins, Danielle Grace and Jonah Stephan. It’s almost Christmas and Gabby has her hands full. She is Mom to four children and wife to three men. Her husbands do everything they can to help her but her emotions are all over the place. She’s happy one day and sad the next. She doesn’t dare talk to her men about it since Grey has a tendency to over react to anything concerning her. This book was the perfect epilogue to the first book. We see how their family has come together to include Daniel who stepped in as Gabby’s father figure and became part of their family. And of course, the McLendon’s own mom, Hazel, and her three husbands. So, when they all get together, it’s quite a crowd. And of course, nothing goes as planned. You will get a good amount of sexy times but you will also get a few chuckles as this huge family celebrates Christmas. What stands out, though, is that this family is over flowing with love. I think that is why I love them so much. Everything they do is based on the love and respect they have for one another. You definitely need to read this series in order. So if you haven’t yet, then start book one. Then, be sure to follow with this one. It’s sure to make you smile, perhaps sigh a time or two, and just make you happy. Now, I’m on to book three, Rock Star Cowboys, which will focus on the boys, Conner and Carson, all grown up. I can’t wait to get more of this wonderful family.

Still as cute as the first one but not worth 2.99 for only 89 pages. Wish it was longer with more detail.

Its been a year and a half since Gabby got her HEA with Grey, Matt, and Mason. The twins are eight and Gabby gave birth to twins Danielle and Jonah four months ago. It's the Christmas season and Gabby feels like she is on an emotional roller coaster. Her husbands are doing everything they can to help her. I love the McLendon family! This was a great follow-up to The Heart of Falcon Ridge. I loved the flashback where Grey is freaking out when Gabby is giving birth.

A McLendon Family Christmas, The McLendon Family Saga Book 2, is the perfect book to heat up your holidays. It’s a great follow up to book 1, and is packed with hot, steamy loving between Grey, Matt and Mason, three totally sexy cowboy brothers, and their wife, Gabby, one very lucky woman. (No action between brothers.) The love shared between these three warms the heart and other bodily parts I won’t mention. Do be warned, if you are easily offended by sex scenes, you might want to skip this one, though I loved it. Gabby has her hands full with her three men, their two sons from their first marriage, the rest of the McLendon clan, and is expecting a new arrival, all at the busy holiday season. She somehow manages to handle it with grace and poise. Grey, on the other hand, is a hot mess. His character is even more entertaining in this book, especially in the delivery room, though he has good reason to be stressed. I truly enjoyed this novella and highly recommend it. It’s a must read if you enjoyed book 1, as it is not a standalone story.

Cost $3 for 90 pages and it was not good on top of that!

Can't believe I paid $3 for less than 90 pages. Really makes me rethink buying any more books by this writer.
