A wonderful underated series. Each book better than the last. Historical settings, madcap scenes, twisting plots and great characters make for outstanding mystery stories.

The author did a good job of recreating the personality of Dorothy Parker. The dialogue seemed what one expects of Mrs Parker and Robert Benchley, but the plot seemed thin and unconvincing. I will read other Dorothy Parker mysteries because I love the main character.
