If you're a fan of Tool, A Perfect Circle and/or Puscifer, then of course you're already aware of one of the major contributing factors by the name of Maynard. This book specifically dives into his own personal life.Gives you a near detailed time line from toddler all the way to present day.If you're looking for a book that taps into the details of the music, this isn't it.If you're looking to find out more about the man behind the mask, then YES! This will get you as close as you possibly could imagine.. It really does a good job of just summing him up as a whole, shedding light on things you THOUGHT you knew but were ill informed on, as well as giving you his personal word for word emotional thoughts about situations you would have never known about unless you knew Maynard personally.. I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say, If you're a fan, then of course you'll love this book... if you don't know the music and you're just interested in reading about a modern day musical mastermind genius then get it! It's a good read!!
