Lexi Monroe, a renowned photographer, is haunted by her own sense of failed duty. Her penance? Help an old woman locate her illegally adopted granddaughter. Lexi finds herself stalked by a feared enemy as she is drawn into the search. Chane Callahan seems the one man she can trust . . . and he has secrets that could break her heart. Bestselling author of Til Death, Sharon Sala, praised this book: “A Sacred Trust by Sharon Mignerey has everything a great romance needs...mystery, danger, and a love story between two amazing people - a single father who'll risk whatever it takes to protect his family, and a heroine struggling to right an old wrong. I loved this book.”

Captivating Amazingly realistic, this is a tense, solid romance that will keep you up all night, wondering what will happen next. Taut, character driven, with powerful moments of love, sacrifice, and heroism as two determined people, Lexi and Chane, desperately try to survive the threatening vendetta of El Ladron, a particularly nasty villain who has no qualms about forging a path of death and destruction in order to get to Lexi. A great plot and enjoyable read, I heartily recommend this.
This is Sharon Mignerey's first book and she hangs you off a cliff immediately. It is so good, you won't be able to put it down.
I made this mistake the first time I picked up Sharon Mignerey¿s book, ¿A Sacred Trust.¿ As much as I hate to admit to bias, I¿m not a huge fan of stories with a Native American theme. With one look at the cover art on this book, I was fully prepared to pass on to other novels. I am glad I did no such thing because I would have missed a `keeper.¿ You know the kind of book I mean, those delightful `reads¿ you put on a special shelf to read over and over again, the stories you share with friends. ¿A Sacred Trust¿ would be a `keeper¿ no matter what the theme because Ms. Mignerey tells an emotional, compelling story. I was captured by Lexi Monroe¿s struggle with an enemy from her past who has made her withdraw from the world and lock up her passion for life. I sympathized with Chane Callahan¿s need to keep his secrets and protect his family, while teaching the woman he learns to love how to live again. Within the pages of ¿A Sacred Trust,¿ I discovered an exciting, rich story with complex characters and a gripping suspense. But, more than that, I learned to never judge a book by its cover. Trust me. You don¿t want to miss this one!
