About the Author

Luci Hoffman has been authoring poems and short stories since the fourth grade. She published her first book, Where Do We Keep the Screwdrivers? A Spouse's Guide to Emergency Planning, in January 2024. After the death of her spouse, she felt driven to encourage couples to take the initiative in documenting their essential information prior to an emergency, such as a death, illness, or accident.

Her second book, A Second Chance in Salem, is her first romance novel. The setting of this novel is Salem, VA., one of her favorite vacation destinations.

In addition to her love of writing, Luci is an avid quilter and crafter. She also enjoys spending time with her four children and thirty grand and greatgrandchildren. She resides on a farm in rural Indiana with her two cats. She is a member of the Poetry Society of Indiana and enjoys meeting with other local authors once a month.
