In this, one of the first full-length critical studies of the Tractatus, Maslow tries to clarify some of its more obscure pronouncements and interpret the philosophy underlying the Tractatus as a whole. Influenced by the logical positivism of Moritz Schlick, and by Russell and Ramsey, Maslow's interpretation is that Wittgenstein's basic philosophy is a kind of Kantian phenomenology.
