About the Author

Born under a Scorpio moon, raised in a little house on the prairie, USA Today Bestselling Author Roxanne Snopek said “as you wish” to her Alpha Farm Boy and followed him to the mountain air and ocean breezes of British Columbia. There, while healing creatures great and small and raising three warrior-princesses, they found their real-life happily-ever-after. After also establishing a successful freelance and non-fiction career, Roxanne began writing what she most loved to read: romance. Her small-town stories quickly became fan favorites; print editions of her latest series were recently launched in France.

Oh WoW this book is not what I expected but was so much more. Austin Sweet has lost everything including it appears his wife. We meet him as he is in this broken down old farmhouse in the middle of winter in Marietta, Montana. Yes, my favorite place in the entire world (that really does not even exists). We discover that he has been "gifted" the Sweet Honey Farm only to recover it and get it back up to making a profit. Then we get to meet Melanie his wife and this is where the story gets interesting and takes a very surprising turn. Things are not always as they seem and life does throw thing all sorts of amazing things at you. You just need to be open to catching them with open arms and a willing heart. This book was so moving and oh so touching to me. It had me wanting to can jams and eat more honey. (I already only eat organic honey as my sweetner.) Author Roxanne Snopek can paint an amazing picture of the broken down farmhouse with the bee barn and goats in vivid color. I can see the lights on the old show pieces and all the snow all around the farm. We do get to see some familiar faces among the new ones. Beautiful novella about family, friendships and second change love. Also As a wonderful surprise I got to read one of Roxanne Snopek's short stories called Montana Secrets ... The Jackson Family Legacy.

Sweet story, believable characters, easy to follow story line. It had everything, I laughed and cried, if I do both it was a great read. Can't wait to read the next in the series.

Reviewed by Danielle Urban for Readers' Favorite A Sweet Montana Christmas is one inspirational romance. Roxanne Snopek has done it again with this novel. I love how realistic the characters and story are. The way this well-written plot unfolds, readers will feel like they are experiencing the ups and downs of one couple's journey. A love for better or worse. Decisions are super hard to make, especially when one's family pressures their child into the life they want. A husband and wife are deeply in love with each other and now experiencing a bit of life's harsh cruelties. Money is not like it was, yet the wife still loves her husband. However, he feels like a disappointment to his wife and wants only the best for her. He struggles with his family pressuring him and leaving him with two choices. Will he do what it takes to make his family happy or go after what he loves and cherishes? Roxanne Snopek has stunningly woven together a tale of a man who finds what he really wants and goes after it. Deep inside A Sweet Montana Christmas, readers will receive a first hand glimpse into a real romance. One that will allow readers to easily connect with both of the characters. The emotional struggles feel so believable that readers will end up feeling like they are the characters. Roxanne Snopek's novel shows readers that romance isn't easy and not always charming, that it can be a struggle, and has its own roller coaster ride that we, in reality, experience as well. Readers will indeed want to pick up this enchanting title. I felt my heart go out to both Austin and Melinda. I loved it. Overall, I highly recommend this novel to romance fans everywhere.

My first thought - I paid money for 108 pages. Also, I had read one of her books (Samara and Logan) and it wasn't worth a nickel. Depressing. This one was too short but complete. Could have left off the descriptive sex scene. I skipped it - a waste of pages. So glad I selected this one. A wonderful love story.

A well written story about second chances and learning to live a completely different lifestyle then you are used to. The lessons in life can be very difficult at times. Austin Sweet is learning this first hand. First his company goes under. Then, he loses his house and possessions. The final blow is when his wife leaves him. His parents have given him his grandfather’s old farm house to fix up and get ready to sell. Is he ready to live on a Montana farm, in the middle of winter, raising goats and bees even if it’s just temporary? The day his wife Melinda shows up asking for a second chance comes as a shock to him. She carries a secret that brings renewed hope to their relationship. With all the changes to both of their lives, will they be able to stay together or will it drive them further apart?
