A Valley in Africa

A young doctor from New York state accepts a two year assignment in Africa, to help a friend and to get over his own divorce.

Through the course of the project his father, a retired academic from a liberal arts college in Ohio, befriends a revolutionary who spent his life in exile during the apartheid regime.

Their unlikely friendship shows how lives coincide in strange ways, no matter where and when that might be.
