About the Author

Tom Jacques grew up in Indiana and presently lives in Pompano Beach, Florida. He grew up spending his free time doing outdoor activities, things like canoeing, fishing, hiking and camping. Now it seems most children spend their time indoors playing video games or other things on the computer. Tom Jacques hopes that his children's books will get kids outdoors again, where they can explore and learn about nature and what it has to offer. When he can, he still loves to hunt for arrowheads with his daughter, Chantel, son Justin, and nephews Adam and Elliot.
