Overview

Hopelessly shy and utterly repressed, Katherine Hart slakes her taboo desires online, where the anonymity allows her to indulge without embarrassment. When Adam Trillo-aka Savage-discovers the shameless, erotic woman he's been tangling with online is actually his demure coworker, he's determined to seduce her in real life. He longs to release the wild Kat he knows lurks just below the surface. With a relentless mix of domination and persuasive charm, he draws her into his web until she's helpless to deny their mutual passion. Particularly when she's tied to his bed.

Can burned souls find a HEA? Katherine lives her fantasies out at home in front of her computer screen , that is the only interaction with the opposite sex that is not strictly professional. Kat has learned her lesson well. After loving a man at work and a nasty break up, she had lost her job, the one thing she loved even more. And now she is satisfying her needs with a guy she met online and is chatting with him, their only connection. Fantasizing about her boss? Check? Giving in? Never! Adam had had a nasty divorce, finding his wife cheating on him. Running his company with his brother and his tech genius, he seeks some satisfaction online. The men have one rule thou shalt not fish in the company pond. Kat and her online dream man decide to take it on the next level and chat via VoIP, how fortunate the company she works for is selling this product. Whenever Adam comes close to her and tries to loosen her up, Kat remains cool and professional, ogling him from afar. With her online chat, she can indulge in fantasies without being embarrassed and allows him to dominate her. While her ex laughed her in the face when she told him about her fantasy, she feels save with him and also tells him about her secret crush at work. By incident Adam finds out that his seductress from the internet is his employee and he is intrigued. The cards keep getting better and better and he is out on seducing her, unwrapping the wildKat. He would love to dominate her and give her what she craves. But Kat is shy and he needs to step carefully or he might not get what he craves. Can her dominant boss heal the old wounds and make her whole again? And can she show him in return that not every woman is false? And what is with the company rule. The book should come with a warning label!! Adam is hot, dominant, possessive and charming. Kat is hesitant, suspicious, smart, strong willed and good in her job. The chemistry between them is getting hotter and hotter. You have to love them. What makes them interesting is that they aren’t perfect and far from flawless, also the side characters make you laugh, cringe and the story is fast paced. You will want to read it in one go. The book length is just perfect. I can recommend the book, but have to warn you as well, some scenes are pretty hot and will leave you wanting more.

Whoa! Hot, sexy, and funny! The story was intriguing and steamy from the get go. Adam got my attention even before I got to “know him.” Kat was sweet and quiet girl but when they were together *fireworks* (it’s always the quiet ones.) The interaction between the rest of the characters was funny and as close to real-life as it can be. This story is a lot hotter than my usual read but all the characters drew me right in and now I want to know more about them and can’t wait for Tristan story. *** I received this book from one of the authors at no cost to me and I volunteered to read it; this is my honest opinion and given without any influence by the author or publisher.***

Very sexy and very hot novel told as only the Queen of Hotness can. Kat is a very reserved and professional woman who has learned the hard way to never get involved with a coworker. She had to leave her last position because of a romance that went wrong. As a result, she is resigned to adoring her sexy coworker from afar and never letting him know she feels. She hides herself is reserved business suits and, literally, never lets her hair down. Kat has discovered a sexy chat room where interested people can enter private rooms together to enjoy erotic conversation. As Kat talks with her new friend, she imagines that he is Adam. Then her friend convinces her to use VoIP technology and things really get interesting. Before long, Adam suspects his internet siren is the buttoned up Kat, but how to know for sure? If you like your romance with an extra helping of sexy, you will love this book. Eighteen and older, though, because the QoH at her sexiest isn't for the younger readers.

Her Royal Hotness outdid herself with Adam's Obsession. My favorite Sabrina York book so far. A steamy, fun read. Short reading time for those with little time for reading.

Reviewed by: Patti Book provided by: Publisher Review originally posted at Romancing the Book Adam’s Obsession drew my interest because it was about a woman who felt it was necessary to use the internet to finally explore the wildness she feels inside her and a man who ultimately finds online what has he been missing. This is my first title by Sabrina York but I must say that I enjoyed her writing style very much. I was immediately drawn into the story and once I started reading I wanted to snuggle down deep into my sofa and read it until the very end. The way Katherine found her hidden wildness online with a stranger was exciting and also very liberating for her. She seemed to really need the outlet from her very confining business attitude that she’s had to affect at work. I think when you have to behave a certain way in one setting and another somewhere else that causes quite a conflict internally. When Katherine’s worlds collide it gets quite interesting and it was an experience I delighted in. I was enthralled by Adam before I even read the story from his point of view. Just the from reading the beginning when I was introduced to his online persona had me so fascinated. I could not wait to get to know him better and understand what his character had to offer. Once it hits him that the Katherine at his office is his “Kat” he no longer can separate his feelings for her at the office from what has happened online. This was an arousing, intense and passionate romance. It started out hot and I don’t think it ever really cooled down. I will say that it had smoking hot sex and my e-reader was burning up. If you are looking for passion in your reading this is a great book to add to your shelf or e-reader. This will be going on my re-read list and Sabrina York will be an author I will be looking to for more hot reading.

But she plays things safe and refuses to give into what she desires. Live and learn, right? Well she did and after a failed attempt at a relationship with a co-worker at her previous place of employment, she toned things down. Anyway, her dalliance at work ended up costing her job. So now she is happy with her job of two years. The fact that she would love nothing more than to attract the attention of Adam means nil. She refuses to compromise her job … again … over a man so she dresses plainly and makes an attempt to detract from her appearance. And it seems to be working. Adam has taken little notice of Katherine beyond her exceptional abilities at work. She is a hard worker and has saved the company a lot of money on occasion from her suggestions. Adam also suffered a divorce from an unfaithful woman and is pretty much turned off from the opposite sex as far as anything beyond physical gratification. So his virtual playtime with Wildcat is basically all he needs. But when he starts to notice similarities between his Wildcat and Katherine, Adam suddenly finds himself wanting more from Kat than the virtual romance they have cultivated. It doesn’t take long for Adam to see beyond the plain façade. When Kat is chosen to replace a co-worker on a business trip with Adam, he is suddenly given exactly the scenario he needs to seduce her. But revealing himself has to be timed right and Adam has a clever way to help himself get to cat by using ... well … himself. His Savage self, that is. The catalyst comes when Adam wants to break the agreement he has with Kat. They can have a relationship so long as no one at work knows. And Kat would love to be able to end the secrets, but she can’t get past the possibility of losing the job that she loves for a man that definitely wants her, but isn’t in love with her. But Adam wants to out their secret romance because he is about to lose his mind over the young, horny punks at work trying to win Kat over. And the irony is that they only start taking notice after Adam himself causes them to. Jealousy is a mean beast sometimes. Of course Adam has to try and make his point with his brother Tristan also. Because coming out to the staff, so to speak, is also breaking a pact between brothers never to “fish in the company pond”. What a fun and flirty read. Can you imagine having a *coughs* relationship online only to find out that he was the guy at work that you lusted after? Fantastical! Outrageous! Awesomesauce! I love that there was well thought out characters to this story that reached beyond the hot, frequent sex. Don’t get me wrong. Reading the sex between the characters was very entertaining, but the substance to said characters made the difference between liking the story and truly enjoying the story. And while Tristan is not much of a key character in the story, I found myself wanting to know his story. In fact, I enjoyed my time spent with Adam and Katherine so much that I have already added the next book in the series to my TBR list, TRISTAN’S TEMPTATION. That pretty much says it all right there.
