5 Star Review All Night Long (Man of the Month #9) by J Kenner This is the ninth book in the series and is Selma Herrington and Easton Wallace ’s story. All Night Long is an extremely well written, fun quick story which grabbed my attention for m the start. Easton has a wild and passionate night with Selma and cannot get her out of his mind, he wants, no needs more but that comes at a risk. His problem is with an election coming up he needs to be careful and remain out of the spotlight and the last thing he needs is to become involved with the wild and often unpredictable Selma. I loved Selma, I loved her unpredictability, her rash decision making, just everything about her screams a fun loving woman with a passion to life life to the fullest. When an opportunity to sell her business comes up she needs a lawyer and turns to Easton for assistance. He in turns believes that they could mutually benefit each other. The chemistry between Easton and Selma is explosive and you can almost feel the burn as your read their story. The books in this series can easily be read as stand alone, but since they are not that long and a quick and easy read I would recommend you one click them all. I am excited to see what happens in the next book; bring on Mr. October.

This series is proving to be one of my favorite :) Each story is short, intriguing, romantic and most of the time there is just a pinch of suspense that makes it even more irresistible. And this night book in the series is not an exception. Though there is no suspense, the story of Selma and Easton is still one of the top ones for me in the series. In a way, it is a second chance at romance and love for those two incredible characters. I have to say, I was intrigued by Selma as a character. Though she portrays a very happy and devil may care attitude, deep inside she is chased by demons from her childhood that mostly decide her every step. Until her second encounter with Easton makes her stop and rethink everything she's done up until this moment. Because the feelings that sneaked upon her heart are truthful, romantic and very strong. Of course their relationship is not easy and causes Easton to take count of his life as well. But once they both see the truth, that they can't live without each other, all bets are off and nothing will stay in their way. As a whole, it is a beautiful story. A story of second chances and overcoming scars from the past so you can get your HEA. Definitely a book worth checking out.

Turn Me On by J. Kenner is the ninth book in her new 12 book Man of the Month series. Told in dual POV this is the story of Easton and Selma, the straight-laced attorney with an eye on politics and a future as a federal judge and the edgy owner of a local Whiskey distillery that rocks short, multi-hued hair and sexy attire. Easton has been on his career path for as long as he has been studying law. The next obvious step is politics and then a play for a position as a federal judge. It makes sense. What doesn't make sense is his wicked, dirty attraction to the one woman that could implode his dreams. But are they really his dreams, and isn't she truly worth it after everything is said and done? Selma and her brother, Matthew, had a rough start to life. As a result, where he is steadfast and comfortable with the status quo Selma is determined to be accomplished and then move on to the next goal. achieve, challenge, excite, and go. Always go... Until Easton. He makes her want to stick but that isn't what she had planned for her life... Well-written and well-paced, this was another great read and I'm excited with how each of the upcoming characters are gently weaved into the plots in earlier stories without being obtrusive to the current story. Enjoy!

I was looking forward to reading about Easton when he was first mentioned in the first Man of the Month book. At the start of this book, we meet successful attorney, Easton, who is being groomed by his mentor to for a judicial seat for the county. Our heroine, Selma, is a free-spirited owner of a boutique whiskey distillery, who is looking to sell so she can travel the world. Her friends around town all recommend Easton as a lawyer to help her negotiate the terms of the sale, but they share a history which involved her walking away from Easton after just one night. I loved the chemistry between these two once they were together, but found some of the decisions Easton made a bit out of character for his public image. Perhaps his inner conscience was trying to derail the path he had set himself on, or better yet, was steering him in the direction that would truly make him happy. Either way, the Man of the Month contest again provides the vehicle for another calendar model to profess his feelings for his lady love!

I think I have found my favorite book of the series! I'm enjoying the series. I love and look forward to reading them. But this book, I just loved. It was the characters. They made the story! Its fun, sexy and super steamy HOT! In this book we meet Easton and Selma! She is wild card. Very spontaneous and lives life at the moment. my kind of girl. But she scared and is always changing her direction. He has a plan, he knows what he wants and where he want go. he is very different from her. But she brings a fun side to him. Soon both realize they complete each other. Its a second chance romance at its finest. This series keeps getting better and better. I love how everyone in past books pop up from time to time and how everyone is some how connected!

A man that looks good in a suit, has an amazing brain, a good heart, super dooper body and mad skills in the sack. . . so the problem is??? OK the stick up his butte to make sure he is prim and proper as he runs for office. Problem is her. I love this series. Each book is awesome sauce and fun. It's great watching the hook ups and why. The stories behind each one and this one is just fun and sexy and adventurous, well that's one way to put it. These two are hot for each other and trying t figure their way thru it. As usual the contest will bring out the truth as only it can and that's where the stand will be made. As we have seen though it's not always the guy that gets the attention front and center stage. This time showing his chest may not be the only thing he needs to do to get her attention. What do you do when the past meets the present?? You go all night long and see if there's a future.

4.5 stars This is the ninth book in the Man of the Month series and it is hot. It can be read as a standalone but I recommend reading it in order to really understand the characters and their motivations. Selma is a woman who does not like to put down roots and is a fly by the wind type of person. She loves to travel and find men with whom she can pass some time until the next one. She is the owner of a distillery, that she built from scratch, but is looking to sell it to move on to another life adventure. Easton is the attorney that Selma wants to hire to work out the logistics of the sale for her maximum benefit. However, Easton has history with Selma and she is the one who walked out on him without saying goodbye ten years ago and his life has changed. Will Easton put aside the past and agree to Selma’s request to handle the sale? Will Selma be able to walk away from Easton once the contracts are signed? This is one short read with dynamic characters coming to grips with what they want out of life. I volunteered to read an advanced copy of this book.

All Night Long by J. Kenner is the ninth installment of the Man of the Month Series where we see two different people find a chemistry like no other. When Easton is on the fast track of becoming a judge, he knows that he needs a clean image with no distractions and so having his attraction to Selma is one crossroad that Easton has to deal with. What happens when Easton can no longer deny his feelings for Selma? And will Selma run away from Easton or run to him? As always, Kenner delivers a story full of chemistry, heat, and emotions. So if you are looking for a story where you have a strong independent heroine and a sexy hero, then this book is for you.

Whew. Selma and Easton are the most perfect example of opposite's attracting. He's a buttoned-up lawyer, on his way to running for an elected judge's seat and she's constantly moving, worried that she's going to miss out on something good if she stays put too long. They shared a weekend together years ago, but now she needs his help. It's not long before that old chemistry comes flaring back to life, but will they make it or are they too different? I wasn't sure how this was going to work. You could tell that neither of them were set on their long term goals (his judge's seat and her moving to Scotland), but as they spent more time together, the doubt in their original plans really started to seep through. Watching Easton have to fight his need for order in his life and Selma want to calm down for another was fascinating. The love scenes were hotter than Hades and Kenner gave us enough emotion that the fight at the climax got me a little emotional. All in all, another great MOTM read. I'm going to be so sad when this series is over!

Title: All Night Long Author: J. Kenner Genre: Adult, Contemporary Romance Format: Ebook - ARC Pages: 250 Rating: 4 Heat: 5 Thoughts: This was just as hot as usual but the characters just kind of appeared. I liked how most of the characters finding love had been connected to the Fix from almost the beginning. Other than that I loved it! The push and pull of their relationship was so much fun to watch. Please note that I received a complimentary copy of this work and chose to write a review.

Wild child Selma turns the world of career driven Easton upside down when she reappears to hire the lawyer many years after a brief hookup neither of them can forget. Her brazen sexuality & unorthodox appearance don’t fit with his conservative political aspirations, but he still craves her. She’s everything he doesn’t want, but might be just what he needs. In all honesty, I really didn’t care for Selma at first, but once her backstory was explained I warmed to her. The ending was touching and her brother Matthew’s story sound sounds promising.

The months just keep getting hotter! Selma and Easton seem to be complete opposites, but these two have absolutely sizzling chemistry! I loved the chemistry, banter, and fun between these two. They both seem to know exactly what they want to achieve in their careers, but soon find maybe they weren't as sure as they thought. A fun, hot, romance with a whole cast of great characters that leaves you wanting more. I can't wait for the next book!

Ahhh! What a sweet, feel-good story! I was quickly sucked into Easton and Selma’s world. I love a good second chance romance and this one gave me ALL. THE. FEELS. While things turned hot quickly, it felt believable because they weren’t meeting for the first time. It had been awhile and Selma needed Easton’s help and she was willing to do whatever it took to get it.

Wow are we really at Book #9 for the MOTM series? Mr. September is here!! What I loved about this book and previously, you get the full characters story and yet circle back to the competition at The Fix. If you have been reading each book in this series, we are at a point that the previous characters are like family. Let's talk about our flighty girl Selma for a minute. That girl had me twisted. With the confidence she had with Easton behind closed doors, it would disappear while things were settling for her. She is a fireball for sure. She has this aura that will make you want to stay attached to this woman. I think I have a girl crush on her. Easton, I knew he was climbing the political ladder. I was afraid he would be hiding Selma and his true self. When things got rough in their relationship that crossed over to his career, let's just say I wanted to kick him where the sun does not shine if you know what I mean. All Night Long overall was fast paced and angsty read for me. You never knew if the characters were coming or going. I tried to stay in the moment with them, but in the back of my head I kept wondering "Which one is going to mess it all up?". This story is great and will give you the steamy romance we are fond of. You get some drama mixed in with oversized emotions. This story will give a great ride of sparks and at the end a preview for what is next.

I've been looking forward to this one since I started this series because I'm a September baby. Mr. September is one sexy lawyer. I was a little iffy going in based on the set up from the previous book, but I shouldn't have worried because I loved this book. I gobbled it right up. I liked Selma and Easton together. They have a ton of chemistry. Selma's back story hit me in the heart and I so wanted her to get her HEA. I can't wait foe the next book it looks like it's going to be a good one.

"For the second time in less than twelve hours, he walked away from her. As far as Selma was concerned, he'd just thrown down the gauntlet." This series has been so fun to read! The books are easy to read, short, sweet and sexy! nnd those Men of the Month - smoking!! Selma Herrington is a free spirit with aspirations of travel, adventure, and a bevy of boy toys to pass the time. Owning the Free-Tail Distillery is great but she's restless. Time to move on to other ventures. The offer from Penoldi-Gryce to buy it and her brand, might just be the sign she was looking for. But to make this deal work, she's going to need a lawyer and one name keeps popping up. Easton Wallace. She hasn't talked to him since their night together nearly a decade ago. Working together on this deal might end up being beneficial for both of them. But, when the terms of their deal conflict with her heart, will she be able to walk away from him when she signs on the bottom line? Easton Wallace hasn't talked to Selma since their amazing night together. Now, she needs his help. Striking a mutual agreement, one that brings pleasure along with the sale of her business, sounds like the deal of a lifetime. She's wild and carefree and a vixen in the bedroom. But he's running for office and a relationship with her would be scandalous. But, as the contracts are drawn, and the time gets closer for her to leave, can he throw away his chances at his dream job and be with her, or should he let her go to pursue her next adventure? He is sure he loves her, but what will it cost them both if he listens to his heart over his head? This is such a great series! I love the characters, the couples, and the sexiness!! Can't wait for the next one!

ALL NIGHT LONG is the ninth instalment in J. Kenner’s contemporary, adult MAN OF THE MONTH romance, novella series focusing on a fund raiser for the popular Austin, Texas bar known as The Fix. This is thirty-five year old, high-powered attorney Easton Wallace, and micro-distillery owner Selma Herrington’s story line. ALL NIGHT LONG can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary although I recommend reading the series in order for backstory and cohesion. SOME BACKGROUND: The Fix on Sixth, a local Austin hangout and bar, is in desperate need of renovations and a quick influx of cash so a plan is put into motion, by a group of regulars, a plan that includes a Man of the Month calendar competition, a recipe book, and a reality show aimed at rehabbing the bar. NOTE: ALL NIGHT LONG is a bit of a departure from the series in that most of the events and story line are not directly connected to the Man of the Month competition and celebrations, but focuses on the relationship between our leading couple. Told from dual third person perspectives (Easton and Selma) ALL NIGHT LONG is a second chance, of sorts, for high-powered attorney Easton Wallace, and micro-distillery owner Selma Herrington. Years earlier, Easton and Selma spent a wild weekend together that ended with Selma walking away. Fast forward to present day, wherein Selma has been offered a hefty price for her micro-distillery. Enter attorney Easton Wallace, the man Selma hopes will negotiate the sale of her distillery, and the man with whom Selma will fall in love. Easton Wallace has never stopped thinking about the woman who walked away but Easton has plans for his future that do not include a rekindling romance with a spunky one-night stand, plans that could be derailed with every sexual encounter. Not one for relationships, Selma is always expecting the worse, and when the offer to buy comes from a reliable source, Selma makes plans to see the world. Crashing into Easton’s life was completely unexpected, as was the natural pull of their palpable sexual attraction. Sassy and confident, Selma goes for what she wants, and our heroine wants Easton both in and out of the boardroom. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. ALL NIGHT LONG is a quick read; an animated and charming tale about two people struggling with their plans for the future ; the romance is feverish, spontaneous and seductive; the characters are impulsive, dynamic and energetic. Give yourself a break, sit back and enjoy J. Kenner’s Man of the Month series.

I love how Julie cleverly ties the characters together in the Man of the Month series.  While we have only been casually introduced to Easton and Selma in the previous books, their story ties in seamlessly with the others, crossing slightly into the timeframe of Shake It Up. On the surface, Easton and Selma appear complete opposites, with Easton being a conservative lawyer and Selma a rebellious whiskey maker. Having shared a sultry night together when they were younger, neither has forgotten the chemistry between them; when Selma needs a lawyer she tries to avoid hiring Easton but he is the best and that is exactly what she needs  Easton has pushed himself in his career following a traumatic economic time for his family, determined to prevent others from the same situation. However, he has veered off his chosen path by the encouragement of his friend and mentor, moving into the idea of becoming a judge. It isn't until Selma re-enters his life that Easton actually takes a long hard look at his personal objectives and assess what would be in his own best interest. Selma has a large number of emotional issues stemming from her abandonment as a child, subsequent time in foster care and later adoption alongside her brother. Although she found a loving family who has always been a phenomenal support system, Selman hasn't been able to shake the constant feeling of foreboding she carries with her. Always waiting for the proverbial 'other shoe' to drop, with a tendency of both keeping people at a distance and pushing them away before becoming too attached. The attraction between Selma and Easton results in an arrangement between the pair to mix a little personal while they are working together. Neither expects the impact it has on their visions of the future. through their time together, both Easton and Selma, truly self-reflect on their decisions for the future as well as breaking down emotional barriers in order to achieve a contentment they hadn't believed possible.  As always with the man of the month series, Julie cleverly sets the foundation for the next book in the series via the epilogue within All Night Long, You'll have to read it to see who is going to play the central part in In Too Deep

I enjoyed All Night Long, the ninth book in the ‘Man of the Month’ series by J. Kenner. It was a second chance romance between free-spirited Selma, a tattooed distillery owner and staid lawyer and soon to be judge, Easton. They had one night together several years ago and although they’d both moved on,neither had really forgotten about it. When Selma seeks out Easton’s help in selling The Free-Tail, it brings back memories of that night. But, as a political figure, Easton has to be careful, and Selma certainly doesn’t fit the generic picture of a Judge’s partner. She’s too sexy, too wild… too much to forget, never mind let go again. Can the stick in the mud sexy lawyer let his hair down? Will Selma be able to curb her OTT style. Should she? I loved watching this story unfold, and as always, the characters lead the way. Grab this one today.

craft, distillery and Easton as the superstar lawyer that everyone uses. What we didn't know is that Selma and Easton have a history. One that Selma walked away from in her efforts to be free spirited and not tied down. The difference is the memory of Easton stuck with her as something more. When Selma decides to uproot yet again and sell, the now successful, Free-Tail, everyone tells her Easton is the lawyer to talk to. Easton has worked hard and excelled in his legal career. Now people are pushing him to run for a Judgeship. When Selma approaches him he knows either the best or worst thing that could happen to him has walked through his door. I liked that we got to find out more about Selma and Easton and see them together. Easton keeps trying to be the responsible aspiring politician, but Selma brings something real and powerful out in him. Together they are something more, the passion and the drive that they share cannot be contained. Overall I very much enjoyed All Night Long by J. Kenner. It was hot, passionate and fun. I wished it were a little longer. Another 30+ of these characters would have been fun and a bit more complex, but I think with the next book being Selma's brother, Mathew, we may continue some of the shared story that Selma and Mathew have. This was a nice add to the Man of the Month series and should not be missed. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance review copy of this book I received for free from in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

All Night Long written by J. Kenner 5 Mouthwatering Stars “...if you thought there was going to be more than a fast, fun time, then that was your misinterpretation. Not mine.” I don’t know how she did it again. If you’ve read my other reviews for The Man of the Month Series you know that J. Kenner keeps upping her game and giving me a new favorite calendar man. However...I think the woman in September makes him truly shine as a better man. Confidence is sexy and I think they bring that out in each other. “I wear designer suits on my body by day and gorgeous women on my arm at night.” This book makes you want to revisit your journey through life. Just because you're successful or following a plan doesn’t mean it’s the right plan for you. There may be another road you were meant to travel that makes you feel alive each day. “... a strict no-return policy with men.” Although I felt the serious undertones in this book do not think you will miss out on the fun, flirty, friendships, jealousy or steamy moments J.Kenner always dazzles us with. You will not be disappointed with Mr. September. “This is just you and me. No contracts. No rules. Our way, whatever we want that way to be.” I can’t wait to sit down with Mr. October in the next book of the series~In Too Deep.

One night spent with Selma left Easton wanting more but it wasn’t meant to be will second time around be any different for the man who is being fast tracked for becoming the next judge and for the strong minded wild girl who normally knows exactly what she wants. Selma is looking to sell her whiskey distillery business and there is only one man she knows who will get the deal she wants and that’s Easton but will he take her on as a client when she left him all those moons ago after a night of passion. Easton can see right through Selma he knows the reason she is fighting for just the perfect deal is because deep down she doesn’t want to sell but can he convince her to stay for her business and more importantly can he convince her to stay for him. A wild child and a man destined to be a judge can it ever work ........ I love this series and I’m sure I say every couple of weeks this the best one yet and yes I’m going to say it again for me this is J.Kenner at her best, I love that these short stories still pack a punch, they are romantic, full of passion, they have characters we fall in love with and this series makes me feel like I’m home having a few drinks with friends and that’s what a great book is all about.
