Alphabet Stories

This book is a collection of seven stories based on the history of 26 letters of the English alphabet. The appearance of the letters of the English alphabet has evolved over the centuries, as they travelled across many countries.

The Roman alphabet was copied from the Etruscan alphabet, which in turn, was copied from the Greek alphabet. The letters of the English alphabet came from the Roman alphabet, which only had 23 letters. The remaining three letters W, V and W were only added later. W...
