To say I have been waiting for the release of this one is an understatement. I have been asking (BEGGING!) for this book since I finished the first in this series. This series has captivated me from the beginning and At Any Turn did not disappoint! 'But...we were like magnets. Tearing ourselves apart to get back to each other.' At Any Turn is told in Adam's POV and I absolutely loved that the author did this. He is sexy and mysterious. Yet, we never knew what he was thinking...until now. Adam and Mia's story continues as they figure out what it's like to be in a relationship. To be in love. To surrender. Their story is genuine, realistic, and heartfelt. As Adam and Mia encounter many obstacles in their relationship and personal lives they grow apart, but their love for each other remains. In fact, I believed that it grew stronger. Without giving the story away, we are thrown much deeper within the lives of Adam and Mia. This time around they are much more invested emotionally, and they have some heart wrenching moments. They are tested as individuals and as lovers. The past and secrets haunt them, yet love always brings them back full circle and love is what saves them. 'And all I could think of in that moment was how right she was about me. How she know me better than anyone else, had looked into my soul, seen the worst of me and never looked away...' While Adam remains true to his character, where he is a completely intelligent, arrogant, and controlling, you see the changes. You see someone who typically is void of any emotion with little desire to be in a relationship completely fall in love. Don't get me wrong. He fell for Mia in the first one. But in book 2, his POV? He falls completely, irrevocably in love with her. Even while facing his past and secrets, his love for Mia is undeniable. He opens his heart completely and to watch that made waiting for book 2 worth it. Your heart will break over circumstances that Adam and Mia are left to endure and what a twist that was. Never saw it coming! 'She'd stripped me bare of all secrets I'd cloaked myself in. I was raw and honest and no longer hidden.' At Any Turn continues to be a series that I am totally invested in. I love that these characters are different than the usual cookie cutter characters seen in NA novels lately. Adam and Mia have their flaws. They are laid bare for all readers to see, yet you can't help but love and appreciate their honesty and realness. The writing is flawless as usual as this is no surprise. This author has a talent of storytelling. Her writing style grips you from the beginning and doesn't let you go until the end.

Serious angst. Love these characters. Warning: Major Cliffhanger but so well written. Complex emotions and storyline. Very real feeling.

*4.5 Rounded Up Beware, this is not a lighthearted romance, and will make you want to grab Mia and Adam and shake them until they see sense. You will need to read the first book, At Any Price, before starting this. This book is all from Adam's point-of-view, and I think just about any woman reading will feel frustrated by his "man logic." There are so many moments that made me cringe and facepalm. In a lot of ways, though, it made me think about how very hard it can be to understand how men react to things, even those without pasts like Adam's. His voice is so very masculine, and so very different than Emilia's in the first book. I think this was done remarkably well and made it easier for me, as the reader, to empathize with Adam and feel just as lost, surprised, and frustrated as he did. I loved the peeks into how Adam was feeling in the first book as well. It strengthened their story considerably, despite the fact that their relationship is on the rocks basically the entire time. It drove me crazy, everything that kept happening, but I also appreciated how it all made me feel. As with the first book, I did intuit a significant plot reveal from very early on. Fortunately, this didn't affect my enjoyment, or even the reveal itself much. There are so many questions, in a good way, that figuring out one aspect early still keeps you guessing and the story from being too predictable. All of the supporting characters from the first book are back, and get to shine a bit more in this one. Heath, in particular, gets more of a role, which I was happy to see. Do also be warned, this ends on a HUGE heart-wrenching cliffhanger. Thank goodness I didn't have to wait for the next book, At Any Moment, to be released! As it was, I could not put this down! I'll leave this with: Brenna Aubrey, you have a gift! Such a wonderful way with words, the reader is guaranteed to feel as though (s)he is reading about real people.

Well, I stayed up all night. again to read book # 2 "At any Turn" This was another great read by Breanna Aubrey. The second book in the gaming series. This was part 2 of Adam and Mia's story and boy I did not see that coming. I can't tell you what happens because I don't want to giv e the plot away, but it is very exciting and a true nil bitter. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I am about to start book 3 "At Any Moment" I can't wait and it will probably be another sleepless night. LOL Enjoy and thank you Breanna Aubrey for another great series.

I found this book was written better than the first one. I really liked Adam. He may have made some really stupid choices but they were out of love and worry for Emilia. He really was trying to change. Emilia really irritated the hell out of me in this book. I wanted to smack her upside the head so many times. She wanted Adam to change his controlling ways but she couldn't even make changes for herself. I felt that she was selfish, a coward, and inconsiderate. She left the man she loves in the dark, everyone around her including her own mother too. I haven't decided if I want to read the third book because this one left me feeling pissed off with Emilia.

I loved the female character and male character in this series as they were equally strong. I did not however like this 3rd book in the series as much as the other two. It could of been shortened and it would of moved along better and kept my attention more

An excellent read! I could not put it down. I loved that it was told from Adam's point of view. The writer is truly gifted at depicting raw emotion. I did not see the twist at the end coming and could not wait to read the next book in this series.

I like the stroy. It's different which is refreshing. However a bit to much description. Also I felt like the silliness to the characters issues carried on way to long. Other than that it's a decent read.

I like the characters. I like the story. I don't think all the f- bombs are necessary to make it a cntemorary story.
