Azygos
With two distinct paths, "Azygos" follows Marlowe's and Sloan's interweaving stories. Sloan and his family have been tracking his mother's killer for as long as he can remember. As time passes with no answers or closure, the resentment and hatred in his family grows to a breaking point. Marlowe and her family must return home to Portland after she recklessly commits a grave mistake while hunting. Her guilt and their judgment only intensify, but upon a chance meeting between the two, things begin to change. Finding comfort and warmth within each other, they forge a connection. But as people are murdered and secrets are told, their bond agonizingly twists towards its final challenge. With their lives colliding, the solace they find within each other may only be a disguise for their darkest nightmares.

About the Author

J.H. White lives and writes in the Pacific Northwest with her supportive husband, two riotous children, two old-lady dogs, and many over-watered plants. The creative and expressive arts have always been a passion of hers, and she received her Bachelors of Arts in Theatre Arts. After directing and designing many stories on the stage, she ventured into finishing her own stories and endeavoring to publish. With a little encouragement and a lot of editing, The Tiber Series has taken root with Volume I and II. This reverse-chronology series is her first published work and many more are on the horizon. J.H. White enjoys reading and writing varied fiction genres, from fantasy and historical fiction, to thriller and suspense, to realism and classic literature. Currently, she is writing a stand-alone novel set in 1970's Scotland. When not writing, she enjoys working in the garden and expanding her experiences around the world.
