I just love Brett Bad and Sophie ‘s Story! I love the chemistry between the two! This is an emotional story. Brett lost his sister at a very young age and never got over it! His parents got divorced over their lost and their family was a fractured mess who slowly found their way back. Sophie helped Breetvsee the light! One of my favorite Melissa Foster book! I also loved the audible copy!

I have been waiting on Brett’s story since I stumbled across the Bad Boys. The tension and chemistry is there between Sophie and Brett but the life goals they have are drastically different. One is searching for her happily ever after forever kiss man and the other has a habit of running from the word commitment, let alone a relationship. Sophie must decide if it’s worth it to risk her heart to a man who is very vocal about avoiding all the things she is looking for in life. I am a big fan of everything I read by Melissa Foster. There are elements that you can expect from every book she releases yet she always brings us readers new and exciting stories. The chemistry, the relationship growth between the Hero and heroine, the supporting cast of family – all of it comes together to make for a very exciting read. The book wasn’t overly long and the pacing was good, but I still managed to read through the book in one sitting. I just wish there was more to it; I always want more of the couples this author writes about! **4.5 Stars - I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader copy of this book.

Another steamy, sexy, can't put this book down read by Ms. Foster. The entire time I was reading this book one phrase kept running through my head, " The bigger they are, the harder they fall". I think that fits Brett so well. I love that Brett and Sophie's attraction is so strong that it pulls them together until she can't help but give him(and herself) a chance. I love how well they complement each other, they seem like total opposites but it works so well for them. While this was a steamy book it still managed to give me that warm fuzzy feeling, like there is still true romance in this world. Brett and Sophie's story allowed me to get lost in another world while reading and that is the best feeling a book can ever give. I can't wait for more from Ms. Foster.

Truely enjoyed this series and didn't want it to end. Normally the last few books aren't as good as the first but not in this series. Will check out more books by this author.

Brett is the ultimate playboy. He has a new woman to play with all the time and he never stays overnight. But Sophie is always on his mind and hanging with the boys or flirting and picking up women is no longer a thrill to him. Can it be? Has his heart been plucked like his brothers?  Sophie is a professional woman doesn't want anything to tarnish her image or reputation. But the attraction to Brett is getting so strong, she can no longer put him off. But does Sophie really have the stomach or heart to play Brett's one and done game? Its whispered everywhere, a leopard doesn't change its spots, you can't turn a bad boy good, and you can't change a man. This story though is a great story of when playing hard to get, and resisting the bad boy wors out well. Even with this tale, it shows that when a man is ready and finds the right girl, he will definitely change to keep her. I love when I get to curl up with a Melissa Foster book, and Brett is definitely my favourite Bad Boy. *An advance copy of this book was provided to me for review purposes only, at my request, all opinions expressed are my own*

Bad Boys After Dark: Brett was the perfect way to end the Bad brothers series. I have loved this series form the start. This one is no exception. It is Brett and Sophie's story. Sophie is Brett's brother Mick's assistant. They have dance around each other for 2 years. Despite Brett's fear of commitment, there was surprisingly little angst in the story. Which made it so much more enjoyable. I loved watching Brett finally come to realize that he loved Sophie and was ready to make a commitment. My favorite parts of the book took place when they visited Sophie's family. They were really funny and added a lot of sass to the book. I definitely recommend this one as well as the rest of the Bad brothers series. Grace's story is up next and is the first in a new series starring the Montgomery family. I can't wait! *I received a copy of this book from the author

A sexy romance with a Bad boy! Bad Boys After Dark: Brett is the fourth book in the Bad Billionaires After Dark series. This book drew me in from the very beginning. It is a story full of romance, humor, and definitely some steamy heat. A well-written story with a plot moves at a steady pace with a fresh, new story line that is easy to read. It is captivating and kept my attention to the very end. This is a story that will make you smile and laugh. Melissa does a great job of taking common issues that most of us can relate to and show that with love all things are possible. Definitely a book that gives you all sorts of emotions. The characters are well developed and easy to like. This author knows how to create a story with enough romance and action to keep the reader entertained and interested. The characters in this series have become like my own friends and family. I can’t wait to read more in this series to see what happens with the rest of the characters. Melissa does a great job of intertwining the characters from each book into the rest of them. You get a new story with a little more of the future of the characters you have read about previously. Bad Boys After Dark: Brett is another book from a very gifted author that I had the pleasure to read. Melissa Foster is a very talented author that tells remarkable stories that captivate you and will have you not wanting to put the book down. I have not been disappointed yet! Definitely, an author that you will want to keep on your go-to list. If you enjoy reading a romance that is entertaining and full of humor, then you will thoroughly enjoy this book and series. This series will leave you wanting to read more!

Brett's book is hands down my favorite in The Bad Boys After Dark Series. So many lovely feelings came out of the story of Brett Bad and Sophie Roberts. Sweet, sensual, and fun are all words that I'd use to describe Bad Boys After Dark: Brett by Melissa Foster. Brett is the ultimate bad boy, no pun intended, but with Sophie, he is going to be the best guy there has ever been. This book made me smile, it made me swoon, and I was hooked from the first page. As with all stories in this series, the Bad Brothers are there to give some light-hearted ribbing and to support Brett as he weaves his way through turbulent memories. You will laugh, you will cry, but you will love this book. Sophie is as sweet as you please, but she is everything that Brett needs and wants, even if it takes Brett a while to get it together. Brett's book is my favorite of the series and I honestly don't know how Melissa keeps creating these lovable heroes for her stories but I'm so glad she does.

That delicious kisses that melt not only in your mouth but captures your heart forever This book is not only a panty melting book but so hilarious. Have you meet Sophie's grandma yet? She is one hot mess character that will not stop you entertained with her craziness. There are so many moments of that book that captures my heart. One is their kisses. Brett loves to surprises Sophie. He will hit you like cupid strike that bow. If you love the nature like me, Brett and Sophie will help your relationship sweeter wrap around the tree. This book is also a heart breaking and emotional. You might need a Kleenex near you. Relationship will last if you are open to communicate and willing to pour your hearts out to someone you love. I loved this series. I cannot wait to have all the books in my bookshelves one day.

In this fourth book in the Bad Boys After Dark series we meet Brett and Sophie. In true Melissa Foster style the Bad Boys After Dark is an erotic, romance series focusing on the Bad Brothers: Mick, Dylan, Carson and Brett. Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it’s absolutely a great stand alone read. However after you read this book you are going to NEED to read the other books. I loved that this story is told in dual third person perspectives. Brett is a one night stand type who has been pining over Sophie for months. Because he doesn’t want to repeat his parent’s disastrous relationship, he pushes anyone he feels he’s falling for away. It’s because these memories from the past haunt him, that he feels he’s not worthy of being loved. Sophie is definitely attracted to Brett as well. However Brett’s reputation is very well known, so she keeps him at a distance. This book has lots of passion, which is something that I’ve come to expect and love from Melissa Foster! It’s a great book that kept me wanting more until the end. I can’t wait to read Melissa Foster’s next series!

I have loved every single one of the Bad brothers novels but BRETT… HOLY SMOKES!! You really should have a fan near by or even a bucket of water because this Bad brother is on fire, BURNING HOT. For years Brett has been flirting with his brother’s executive assistant – Sophie. The two have always had a serious battle of the wills between them, but Brett knew he couldn’t give Sophie what she needed… a forever kind of guy. But then there was a shift and these two were drawn to each other in a way that they had never felt before. Brett knew he should stay away but he just couldn’t stop thinking about the sinfully sexy Sophie. I had a stupid grin on my face the entire time I was reading. I love love loved Brett and Sophie together. This was such a fun, hot read. If you haven’t started this series, it’s ok because all of the books can be read as stand alones, but whats the fun in that? Read this series!!!

Sophie and Brett have lusted after each other for quite some time, but Brett is only looking for a one night stand, and Sophie is a marriage and family type of girl. They both think that spending one evening together will be enough, but they soon discover that it will never be. But can Brett work through the anger that has festered since his childhood to give him and Sophie a chance? I love Sophie and Brett's story, and I love seeing the rest of the Bad brothers' relationships progress! This book can be read as a standalone, but I definitely recommend reading the rest of the series, as you'll love them all! I have volunteered to share my review and all the opinions are 100% my own.

Ladies – prepare yourselves and your heart for Brett Bad! Brett is sexy, smart, caring, and funny. However, is also closed off, angry, regretful, and fearful after the death of his sister and the demise of his parents’ marriage. Brett doesn’t just explore the idea of romantic love in this novel, but also learns about letting go of anger and guilt in order to build a stronger and happier future. Sophie is a fantastic character that is smart, beautiful, endearing with a huge heart. This country girl turned city girl truly opens Brett’s eyes to the possibility of commitment, as well as, shows him how close and happy a family can be. I love that she took such a huge leap of faith in this novel, followed her heart, and exuded joy wherever she went. This installment in the series also boasts incredibly developed and charming secondary characters, especially Sophie’s sister, her Nana, and her Poppi. The entire family just left me feeling warm and fuzzy as if the book was giving me a huge hug! Melissa Foster continues to amaze me with her unending creativity and desire to share stories of family, friends, and love. This fabulous author not only spins wonderful tales of romance, but creates stories enriched with timeless themes involving the inner workings of family, friends, career, the past, and the future.

Brett is the fourth book in the Bad Boys After Dark series, but you can read it as a standalone (as I did), and you won't get lost. The other brothers play a big part in Brett's story, but not enough that you are lost with who is with who. Brett and Sophie have known each other for a while, as Sophie works for Brett's brother. Since a wedding they both attended , Brett can't get her out of his mind. He is worried though, as he knows Sophie is not looking for just one night, but a long term relationship. Due to circumstances in his past, Brett is slightly phobic about commitment, but decides he needs to take a chance with Sophie. This is a sweet and yet hot story, with Brett and Sophie actually getting together quite quickly as their shared attraction is off the charts. There is some angst in the book, but refreshingly enough it is not between Brett and Sophie, but Brett and someone else (who I won't say as I don't want to spoil the book). There is an excellent array of characters, each with their own individual quirks, and loads of them needing their own stories. This was a well written contemporary romance, with no editing or grammatical errors that disrupted my reading flow. A long book with more than enough to sink your teeth into, I definitely recommend this book. * A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book, and my comments here are my honest opinion. * Merissa Archaeolibrarian - I Dig Good Books!

Oh how I love me some Bad boys! Brett is deliciously handsome and has a sweet heart – just like his brothers. I cannot get enough of the Bad men. They are all big, burly men who have walls, but find these sweet women to take them down and show their loving side. Sophie and Brett are perfect and their story unfolded so amazingly. I would love to read more of their future together because they really are an amazing couple. They come from different backgrounds, are opposite personalities and make the best happily ever after couple. I loved reading Brett around his niece and being with Sophie’s family (Nana is amazing!). The love between Brett and Sophie is amazing and all encompassing. They are perfect for each other and I would love to read their story again and again! As usual, Melissa’s books are amazing and can be read as a stand alone, but I must warn you; once you start, you can’t stop!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. This is my new favorite in the series and I am so sad this series has ended. This book is Brett Bad's story, he is the PI brother and he has had a thing for years for his brothers assistant Sophie. Sophie I LOVED!! She has been ducking and avoiding Brett. Not because she doesn't lust for him but because she does. BADLY! He is a player and she comes from a good family and is looking for a relationship and that's not who Brett is. But when Sophie lets her walls down and agrees to see Brett, well she has his number. He doesn't just fall hard for her but for her life and her family. It was really wonderful seeing where Sophie came from and watching Brad fall in love with her family and start to remember the good ones with his sister and his family. Kudos to the author for concluding this series with such a heart warming and romantic story. I LOVED the entire story and I loved what happens with the Bad dad.

Sweet, sexy, sizzling, bad Bad Brother Brett gives it all . . . The last of the Bad brothers gives us something more to talk about. These Bad Brothers have not let me down or stirred me wrong. I loved there dirty, sexy, alpha and their fierceness, loyalty, and unity brings to them the perfect complement to them even when they were not ready for her. Sophie was the sweet one, she was the quite one, she was the one that Brett needed and didn’t even know it. She was willing to through caution to the wind for one bad Bad brother. Sophie brought with her on this ride her family and friends. They were great secondary characters adding some fun, laughs, and interest. These romance are sweet, heartwarming and give a sense of familiarity. I loved feeing connected to new/old characters. Melissa Foster brings her alpha, sexy billionaire brothers to life with more pizzazz and commitment. She provides a vivid trek in to the world of romance, glitz, glamor and more with the Bad Brothers.

An enjoyably hot and sweet read One of the things that I enjoyed most about this book was the connection between Brett and Sophie. I liked that they not only shared that off-the-charts chemistry, but they had other things in common as well, such as a shared love of working out, football and love of family--it all provided a nice foundation for their relationship. I gotta say, I found Brett's cocky attitude a turn-off at first and it took me a while to warm up to him, but it really speaks to the genius of this author that she got me to make a complete turn-around toward Brett by the end of the book. As this is my first book in this series, I might have liked him more from the beginning if I had read the other books first. Don't get me wrong, the book totally works as a standalone, but like so many interconnected standalones, the more you've seen the characters, the more investment you have in them getting their HEA. So while I did enjoy this book, I think I would have enjoyed it a little more and connected a little more easily to both Sophie and Brett if I had read the series in order. Reading the earlier books first would have also added to the enjoyment of all the great secondary characters in their friends and family as well. An enjoyably hot and sweet read for me that will be a big hit with readers who are already fans of the series. 4.5 stars B2B Kelly

I seriously loved Brett and Sophie! They both knew what they wanted, and they were both willing to push beyond their comfort zone in order to get it--each other. While it may have seemed that their ultimate goals were different in the beginning, it was all a matter of taking that chance because the other person and what they were potentially working towards was and would be worth it. Any changes or adjustments made were not merely FOR the other person, but by the end, it was also what was best for them as individuals and a couple. Foster highlighted the importance of love and forgiveness for one's self, for their partner, and within one's family. Five-plus stars for Brett. ♥

These Bad Boys just keep getting hotter and hotter! If you haven't started the Bad Boys After Dark series, you really need to! With the final brother's story, we meet Brett and the woman he hasn't been able to get out of his mind since he met her! He thinks he can work her out of his system with just one night ... but she knows one night will only be the start of forever! The characters are really fun and just downright easy to like and relate to. The story line, while a little cliche of bad boy meets good girl and lives happily ever after, is super sweet and undeniably entertaining! I only wish there were a couple more brothers so we'd be able to keep being BAD! Security expert Brett Bad doesn't do relationships, but he sure does have a way with the ladies. He's not one to invite you back more than once, but if a night to end all nights is what you're looking for, he's your guy! Only problem is, he hasn't been interested for a few months now. Ever since he laid eyes one of his brother's employees, he hasn't been able to get her out of his mind. It's really cutting down on his fun, so one way or another, he's going to have to sweet talk Sophie into having one wicked night with him! Legal assistant Sophie Roberts adores her job with Mick, and thinks his family is the best. She finds it hard to breath when Brett is up close and personal and flirting with her like crazy though. She's a white picket fence, forever kind of love type of gal ... so why does she find this guy that is only looking for one night so tempting? With her friend's encouragement to throw caution to the wind and live a little, Sophie decides to give Brett that night he's been looking for .. but what's a girl to do when he keeps coming back for more??

Just listen to this name… Brett Bad… what do you think of? Alpha male, sexy as heck, bad boy with an attitude is what I thought of and Brett Bad is all that and so much more. After losing his sister to leukemia he has put his heart away and made himself closed off to opening his heart. Well, until he meets his brother’s legal assistant Sophie Rogers. Without even trying she makes him want things that he thought he could never wish for. This couple is amazing. While it starts as a take what you get hook-up it quickly turns into something more. I love that Sophie was willing to accept that Brett only had so much to offer yet ever so gently pushes him to offer more. Most of the time Brett didn’t even realize that Sophie was pushing until he had already gave her some of what she was looking for. Their relationship was all physical at the start but there was emotion and heart underneath that physical part very quickly. Brett’s story is the final chapter in the Bad Boys After Dark series. It was fun to catch up with the other brothers and their partners. There were weddings, family get together, and babies to learn about. I am sure in future book in the Love in Bloom Series the Bad Boys will make an appearance and I can’t wait to see what they are up to.
