Wall Street meets the Sons of Anarchy in Bad Deeds, the smoldering, scorching next novel in the explosively sexy Dirty Money series from New York Times bestselling author Lisa Renee Jones.

Would you bleed for the one you love?

To save his family empire from the grip of the drug cartel, Shane is pushed to the edge of darkness, forced to make choices he might never make. His father is dying. His brother is desperate to rule the empire and this means war and all gloves are off. His brother only thought he knew what dirty meant. Shane is about to give it new meaning. There is another war brewing though, and that one, is inside him, his battle between right and wrong, light and dark, and in the heat of the night, it is Emily he turns to for escape. Driving her to new limits, pushing her to accept a part of him that even he cannot.

In every one of Shane's seductive demands, Emily can taste and feel, his torment, his struggle to save his family and not lose himself. But he is losing himself, and that is a problem just as dangerous as her secret, that still lurk in the shadows, a threat to the Brandon Family waiting to erupt. No matter where she and Shane have traveled, or will travel in the future, she can't just sit back and watch him become everything he hates, everything he never wanted to become, everything she tried to save him from when she tried to run. It could be their undoing, the end. His end.

This is war, blood will spill, and someone in the heart of the Brandon family will not survive....

I absolutely LOVE this author and this series, but the ending really did not sit well with me. I understand the dramatic effect the author intended, but it was off putting without knowing if there will be another installment in the series and when to expect it.

The promise of this story is finally fulfilled for me: the tension, growth and repeated twists and turns were perfectly timed and kept me glued to the story until the end. And while there still is no real resolution on the overall conflict, so many things surprised and delighted me with this story: and many of the questions and concerns that I had from the earlier installments, new questions appeared, and surprisingly I found some kinder feelings for a formerly despicable character. This is not a series that is yet complete, and as each book picks up where the last left off – you need to read these in order. But, this is my favorite of the three so far, and I am finding myself desperate for the next and final. See, Emily and Shane are still growing closer and their moments together are full of that emotion and sweetness. The kindness and caring that they show for one another, the steam that emanates from them, and even the reliance on the presence and quiet moments together adds yet another layer to their already palpable connection. But Shane and Derek are still jockeying for control of the family company, but something surprising happens: I found that with a bit more insight into Derek that I was feeling something more than an abject skin crawl when he appeared. No, he has not reformed, or become even marginally more intriguing, but add in some backstory and give him reasons why he chose the path he now walks, and I could see more of him beyond the ‘ick’ factor. Oh, I still don’t love him by any stretch, but you see how a situation can be viewed and responded to differently depending on personality. Quiet moments are quickly shattered with the next twist and the constant up and down keep readers in a constant state of tension. Extrapolate that to the characters (yes I know it’s fiction) and the emotions are heightened even further, demanding that the page be turned to see what other changes and twists are to come. With yet another ending that had me wailing nooooooo (quietly in my head, mostly) the story still has a few questions left to answer, and undoubtedly more challenges before the end. I received an eArc copy of the title from the publisher via NetGalley for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.

A complimentary copy was provide for an honest review on behalf of The Book Boyfriend Addict. ‘I keep walking, leading her deeper into the circle of fire that is my family, selfishly needing her in this darkness’ Bad Deeds is the third book in the Dirty Money series, this is not a standalone and you will need to read the first two. Shane and Emily are trying to navigate a very dangerous situation that puts them and Shane’s family in harms way. Coming back to save his family business Shane finds that cleaning up his brother and father’s mess is going to be a lot harder than he could imagine. If feels like they have threats everywhere they turn and you just it will create a lot of suspense. A dangerous cartel moving drugs through their pharmaceutical business, his mother’s infidelity, his father’s cancer and his brother inability to see past his own wants and needs. Shane and Emily share a bond that allows them the kind of trust that takes most people years to obtain, although I think the trust is needed for the story it makes them less relatable and I find myself doubting their real connection. The chemistry between Share and Emily is still pretty hot but the nice part is you see them start to grow as a couple and move past the insta-love/lust they originally had. I still think there is a lot that will come out about their past and what sort of future they will hold in the fourth book. Shane’s brother Derek who has been villainized in the past two books and starts to play a bigger role in this book. I think Derek showed the most growth and you start to really feel for him and his relationship with Teresa. While he has seemed pretty destructive so far he has some good reasons why. When he realizes just how much he cares about Teresa he know he has to make some changes to be the man she knows he can be. This one ends on a pretty big cliff hanger which will make you counting down the days to the 4th and final book of the series. Even though a lot happened in the book I felt like we didn’t make it much further into story line then what was covered in the first two books. With that said there are a lot of details hanging out in the balance right now so I am hoping all of they all get explained in the last book. If you were a fan of the first two books I know you’ll be in the same boat as me needing to see how this series turn out.

That is how long we have to wait for the conclusion of this story. Be forewarned, this ends on a big cliffhanger!!! This is the third book in the series and like the others picks up where the last one ended. As more people are added into the machinations to get the Brandon family business, the more the heat picks up. This book is full of sexy, drama, action goodness. More violent than the other books in the series. Seriously everyone has a motive to get a piece of the Brandon business in this book. Emily's past takes a back seat in this book and the couple must work together to help Shane win. I hate to say too much as so much happens in this book and I hate to ruin any one's reading pleasure. I will say if you have been reading this series, you will not be disappointed with the events in this story. Again, these should be read in order. 4.5Stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book provided by the publisher.*

We're more than halfway through this series now. Book #3 and we're deep in the belly of the beast. It's like trying to watch a game of chess unfold through a thick fog of deception, while flames are closing in on you from every side. There are so many players in this game, so you really need to concentrate to keep track of them all, especially when some of them make unexpected moves and seem to transform like a chameleon. This book had me questioning everyone's motives. In the end, it all boiled down to a clear picture of where most of the players stood, leaving me hanging with a heart-stopping ending that has me desperate to find out what happens next. Since this is book three and giving a recounting of plot points would be silly, I'd like to give her praise for a couple of things. If you have read many of her books, like I have, you know by now that her plotting level is pretty much genius. The way the characters and events are intertwined combined with multiple clever and shocking plot twists require you to be fully engaged and alert. Her mental game is strong so you better be prepared to keep up. Of course, to accompany that, is a plentiful amount of passion, heat and chemistry. She leaves you wanting for nothing. Lisa is known for writing these intense and complex books, so naturally it takes time. There are often many months between books in a series. I read many books in a week, so remembering vivid details of every book I read is impossible. I deeply appreciate that she includes a summary at the beginning of the book to refresh my memory on previous events, so I can start reading the current book with a better memory of what happened.

Wow! I loved this book! I've been enjoying this continuing story but I think this is my favorite so far! But holy cliffhanger Batman!! I was left emotionally reeling at the end of this book and will be counting the days until End Game comes out. I just love Shane! I love everything about him from the strength he exudes to the sexiness that just rolls off him! He makes me want to sing "What a man, what a man, what a man, what a mighty good man!!" Emily is a perfect match for him! She is 100% there for him in every way! The steamy sexy times and the adorable I love you counting is a nice distraction from the intensity of the main storyline! I am also seeing Derek in a new light now. So much is happening in this book I can't wait to see how it all ends!

Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is the third book in her stunningly crafted mystery suspense romance series Dirty Money . Told mostly from Shane and Emily's perspective and cannot be read as a standalone. Never quite knowing where the danger is going to come from, be it the drug cartel or the Gemini Hacker Group... The craftsmanship of the story and all of it's many interlaced parts is phenomenal. Let us now even get started on the Grand Canyon of all cliffhangers either. Every single word is a deliberate placement leading the reader through the lives of the Brandon family, those they hold dear, and their enemies. Each sentence takes you EXACTLY where the author wants you to go. Leading you to conclusions that aren't are later proven wrong and leave you guessing, yet again. As this is the THIRD book in a highly connected, completely NOT standalone series I will leave out anything specifically plot related for the sake of spoilers. But know that the bad guys aren't always as bad as they seem and even when you think it is time to throw in the towel, those you least expect will surprise you. I absolutely LOVED this book and the previous books in the series, Hard Rules and Damage Control. I'm now waiting on tenterhooks for January 2018's release of the next book, End Game. Enjoy!

Where to start... Oh where to start... First off, this is a cliffhanger and not a minor cliffhanger. If that isn't your thing than wait for the next book to come out. But definitely read this series. The characters in this series have slowly grown to become so much better. The first in the series made me like them, the third made me respect them, and the third made me want to propose. The characters have all shown great growth and I really like the fact that there are so many three dimensional characters. I love that everything is so complex in this story. I typically hate mysteries but this romance/suspense kept me engaged and questioning the whole time which is not normal. The story is extremely complex and it keeps you guessing the entire time. I want to rate this book 1 star for the ending that is making me want to scream out into the abyss (I am kidding). I had such a strong reaction, that it makes me love this book. It just shows how invested in this series I am. Ultimately, this is a great series that anyone who enjoys romantic suspense will love. Seriously, just pick up the books. You can thank me later. I received this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Living on a Prayer 'Bad Deeds' by Lisa Renee Jones is book Three in the "Dirty Money" series. This continues the story of Shane and Emily –you do not need to read the previous books in the series but I would recommend it. The story picks up exactly where book 2 ended and you jump right back into the family situation. There is many intense and serious moments in this book, especially involving the cartel and the family. Yet the family comes together stronger than ever and Shane and Emily are tighter than ever. Also in this book, we see some sparks flying between Jessica (Shane's assistant) and Cody (Emily bodyguard) while also getting more 411 on Derek and Teresa's relationship. That’s not to say we do not get Shane and Emily—because we so do. Its steamy and intense and sexy!! Just when things were looking fab, we are left with an epic cliffhanger….TELL ME THIS ISNT IT!!??!! I need End Game like Right now!!! My Rating: 4.8 stars ***** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is book three in her Dirty Money series and it continues the story of Shane Brandon and Emily Stevens. Starting where Damage Control (book two) left off, Shane Brandon is still trying to save his family's company and remove it from being under the control of the Martina cartel.  Like a game a chess the players continue to try to stay moves ahead of each other and Shane doesn't know who he can trust, especially when Adrian Martina increases the pressure of wanting a partnership with Brandon Enterprises. At the same time, Shane continues to try to get rid Brandon Pharmaceuticals. Filled with action and suspense, as well as unexpected twists and turns especially in the end with a really nerve-wrecking cliffhanger that'll leave you wanting book four as soon as possible.   I enjoyed Lisa Renee Jones writing and how she keeps the story moving and the reader invested in her story. It's all about the characters. Story-arc wise, in my opinion while I read, there weren't very big power-plays or game-changers until the last half. What developed and changed more for me this installment while reading were the people. Shane and Emily were the constants, and I loved their relationship and how strong it has grown.  But what I really liked was that we got to know more about the other characters within the series such as Seth, Jessica, Cody, and even more of Shane's family like Derek and Maggie. Ms. Jones has definitely added more on the line in the novel, by increasing the emotion and making us as readers feel more for the characters we saw previously only as villains, like Derek. It was interesting to see more to his character in this novel and his relationship with Teresa. I can't wait to see what Ms. Jones has planned for the next novel. Overall, Bad Deeds by Lisa Renee Jones is a great continuation to an exciting romantic suspense series. I look forward to reading the next book and more from Ms. Jones. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book I received for free from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for my open and honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.)

3.75-4 stars. This was another good installment to this sexy, suspenseful series! This is the continuation of Shane and Emily's story. Shane is still trying to save his family business while dealing with some very bad guys. His father and brother are still wild cards and he doesn't know who to trust. Emily is trying to support him and help him in his investigations, while wanting to keep herself and Shane safe. As the danger ramps up, the suspense will keep you guessing. Through it all, the couple grow stronger in their love and are able to withstand the threats that are bearing down on them. This book started out a little slow. I felt like there was a lot of suspense and drama going on, but not as much romance or relationship development. It started to feel like the story was drug out for drama's sake. But once the story started to pick up, the mystery started to resolve itself nicely. I liked the second half of the book better than the first. I felt like the book could have been edited down some to make the pacing flow better. Also, there is a doozie of a cliffhanger. But overall, I did enjoy it. I loved Shane and Emily together. They are really a great couple and are getting stronger together in every book. Their love is obvious and I can't wait for the final book in the series so they can get their HEA. Overall, I really like the way the story seems to be heading in it's conclusion and I can't wait to see how it all ends!

Deliciously Addictive! OMG! I could not put this fantastic story down! This was a fast paced, all consuming, intense fight for control that was addictive, commanding, dangerous and passionate. Bad Deeds continues this dangerous journey that will leave you obsessively turning the page, desperate to devour every brilliantly crafted word looking for the answers to all the secrets.
The intrigue, the passion, and the sex is off the charts but as the danger escalates no one is safe. The players are many, all wanting to take over the Brandon empire. The Martina Cartel is not giving up, and as these dangerous desperate men assert their power, will Shane and Emily’s bond survive? Will their deep connection keep Shane in the light or will the darkness overtake him? As we get a look into Derek and Teresa’s dynamics and finally see a new side to Derek, is he showing us all of his cards? Will Brandon senior find a miraculous cure for his cancer? Will Emily’s new endeavors help Shane save the Brandon Empire?
This was simply perfection, with its’ suspense, betrayal, danger and intrigue, as well as twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat. Filled with Power, Control and Passion that is erotically intense and consuming. Warning, there is a gut wrenching cliffhanger of an ending! Leaving the reader frustrated and flabbergasted with more questions that will have to wait till the final book in this series. You don’t want to miss this series! Loved it! Get your book now!
Lisa Renee Jones amazing talent shines blindingly bright in this masterpiece of a series and I cannot wait for the final book, End Game. I received an ARC through the author and publisher via NetGalley in exchange for a honest review!

Not cool, not cool at all, but so very good. Shane still has that cape attached to the collar of his expensive suit. But it was nice to see how he and Emily’s relationship has evolved. Everything, and everyone else was just, wow. I feel sorry for those who haven’t read this yet, I feel sorry for myself because I want the next one now. I deserve it after the anxiety and emotional roller coaster this book took me on. I was given an ARC for my honest review.

'Bad Deeds' by Lisa Renee Jones is book Three in the "Dirty Money" series. This continues the story of Shane and Emily from the previous books. With that said, I do feel you need to read each book to full enjoy this series and their story. But if you choose not to do so.. Ms. Jones does make it easy to catch up. I have just enjoyed the series and hate for you to miss anything! Also, this book does end with a cliffhanger to set you up for the next installment in their story. This book pretty much starts where the last one finished. Shane is still working to get his family business away from dealing with Adrian Martina and the cartel. Shane's father health is failing and in addition things are still going on with his brother Derek . Emily still has her secrets but now she is worried about Shane trying to save the family business and how it may change him. But the family needs to come together to deal with this threat. This book does open up more on the secondary characters with their feelings in thoughts. We see some changes in Derek, his relationships with his family and Teresa . Even Adrian who appears to be nothing but bad, starts to have a few redeeming qualities. So this book opened up our eyes to some of the other characters, while we worry about Shane and how things will play out in the end for him and Emily. As I said earlier...I am in Love with their series and can't wait for the next installment! Dirty Money:, Book 1: Hard Rules, Book 2: Damage Control, Book 3: Bad Deeds, Book 4: End Game, "My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."

To say this series has completely captivated me is an understatement! While book 1, Hard Rules, had me scratching my head a little, book 2, Damage Control, got that under control and started to suck me in, and then lord have mercy, Bad Deeds comes along and has me totally enthralled and on edge. So many things happened that I never saw coming! This book was so intense, so passionate, so heart-pounding! Just when you think all the secrets and lies have been exposed, Ms. Jones throws in even more twists to keep us on our toes. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down! I really love how this story has come together, with Shane and Emily forging a united front in the fight to keep the Brandon empire under family control. With not only his father and brother fighting against him, the Martina cartel is becoming more forceful in their quest to further infilitrate the company, and now there's a new player on the scene set on causing even more havoc. This really is a chess game brought to life! Bad Deeds is full of twists and turns, surprising revelations, and one heck of a cliffhanger! Lisa Renee Jones sure knows how to get her readers invested in a story, as we're left wanting, no needing, the final chapter in the Brandon family saga. I swear these books are better than any serial drama on television today! ***Copy received courtesy of the author and publisher, via NetGalley.

3.5 stars! Bad Deeds is the third book in this continuing series by Lisa Renee Jones. It is not only a continuing series, but each story is continued from the last. I will start off this review by saying I am really tired of continuing stories like this and so my review will be reflected by that. This is my fault. Even though I have read the previous 2 books, (however, I did read them back to back), I should know better than to request a book that is not even the ending of the story, but leaves us with another cliffhanger. As Ms. Jones states in the forward, do not read this book if you have not read the previous 2 books. It will make no sense even as she gives a review of what has happened so far and who the continuing characters are. The story continues with Shane and Emily trying to fight off evil to make this lives safe and good. Throughout their love shines though. Evil consists of the Mexican Cartel and those who are trying to use their company for gain. I wish I could say I loved this series, but I am personally weary of it. Again, this is my fault, and if you have loved the previous 2 books, and don't mind waiting months for the next one, this is a great series. It is well written with believable characters. I don't think I will be willing to wait 4-6 months for the ending! Thanks as always to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this for an honest review.

Lisa Renee Jones definitely turned up the intensity for this installment of the Dirty Money series. Each quiet moment slowly lulled me into a sense of contentment when I should have been preparing for the other shoe to drop. And let me tell you... LRJ drops MANY shoes!! The cartel has brought the heat, the family has somehow come together, and Shane and Emily are stronger than ever. I'm going to keep this brief to avoid spoiling it for anyone, however, I did want to share 'a few of my favorite things': ➥ these two counting I love yous ➥ everything to do with Shane, such as his charm, his determination, his integrity, his morals, his heart, and the way he just exudes sexiness ➥ Cody and Jessica ~ will they get a story? ➥ the opportunity to get to see Derek in a different light. Who knew that I'd end up sympathizing with this man??? It seems that I'm always the fool when it comes to cliffhangers and so the end of this book came as quite the surprise for me. Get ready for a doozy and cross your fingers that End Game comes out ASAP!! Release Date: August 8, 2017 Genre: Contemporary Romance POV: Dual - 1st person Heat: 3.5 out of 5 Type: Book 3 of the Dirty Money series

4.5 stars--BAD DEEDS is the third installment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary adult DIRTY MONEY romantic, suspense series focusing of attorney and billionaire businessman Shane Brandon, and attorney/PA Emily Stevens. Their continuing story should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately upon the events of book two- Damage Control. As Shane struggles to keep Brandon Pharmaceuticals out of the hands of the Mexican cartel, he must also battle his older brother Derek for control of the family business. Told from three first person points of view (Emily, Shane and Derek) BAD DEEDS follows Shane Brandon as he struggles for control of Brandon Enterprises. As their father’s health continues to decline, Shane and Derek are forced to compete for controlling interest in a company on the verge of imploding. With the Mexican cartel threatening everyone he loves Shane makes a deal with the devil that will hopefully calm the beast at the door. Lives will be threatened; betrayal revealed; and a promise of revenge will place Emily in the direct line of fire. BAD DEEDS is an intriguing story of power, family, betrayal, and suspense. The destructive nature of greed forces the exposure of secrets and lies that threaten to destroy Brandon Enterprises. The ultimate battle for control pushes the boundaries of fidelity and promises for a family struggling with threats from all sides. The premise is gripping and intense; the characters are passionate, colorful and energetic; the romance is edgy and provocative- the sexual energy is palpable. BAD DEEDS is an exciting and incredible addition to Lisa Renee Jones’ DIRTY MONEY series. BAD DEEDS ends on a cliffhanger-you have been warned.

OMG! This book had me hooked from the get go! If there is one thing that Lisa Renee Jones is good at, it is writing fantastic stories that are emotional and captivating. In Bad Deeds, book 3 in the Dirty Money series, Ms. Jones does a great job of pulling you into the story. Packed with plenty of drama, angst, betrayal, loyalty, suspense, secrets, lies, danger, violence, passion, twists and turns that you don't see coming, lots of questions... but very few answers, and a cliffhanger that will blow you away. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

OH MY GAWD!!!! I love Lisa's Dirty Money series. I thought this book was the end .... Oh no! I was so wrong. When I saw that there was End Game coming up next I was confused. I am not anymore. Shane and Emily are stronger than ever. With the last book, Emily's past was upfront. In Bad Deeds, all events turn into something more. Shane and Emily become one and hold power together. I am starting to go soft towards the Brandon family. Derek also captured me this time. I despised him until now. He shows us he is human. My heart cracked. Derek is nothing what we all thought. But I am afraid it may be too late for a change of heart. The ending..... OMG! Like WTF...Cliff Hanger.. What finally comforted me was Lisa's note that when she finished this book, she was left with a cliff hanger too and not sure how the next book will turn out. Bad Deeds gives you sexy like no other. It is more intense. You are finally understand a lot. Your questions you had before get answered. The pain and drama get more intense. Bad Deed exceeded my expectations and I am rooting for Shane and Emily to make this out okay. Like I said, the ending killed me. We can not .. No never mind. I will not spoil it for you all. You need this book ASAP. Now I need a hug or two. This is why I love Lisa, she never disappoints!

This series sure knows how to mess with your head....as you read this you are not sure who to believe! This is the 3rd book in the Dirty Money series and it picks up right where Damage Control left off. Shane Brandon is questioning who Emily Stevens really is. After Seth caught her in an uncompromising position, Shane doesn't know what to think. Emily doesn't want to reveal her true identity so she escapes from Shane but that doesn't last for long....he is quickly able to find her. After the two of them hash things out, they realize they need to be together and they both need to not hold back any more secrets. As the mess with Medina cartel continues to escalate, Shane is even more at odds with his brother, Derek. All the while, Brandon, Sr seems to be getting worse and worse in regards to his cancer. Emily starts to realize that Shane's thoughts and actions are starting to get darker and tries to reach through to his better side. Shane explains that he needs to hone his darker side to come out on top. Just when it looks like things are getting worse, Shane comes up with a solution that may help everyone. Too bad he didn't expect the loose cannon that shows up and throws everything into a tailspin. When all hell breaks loose, BOOM....it ends on a huge cliffhanger! I thought the previous book's cliffhanger was bad, but this one takes the case....and I have to wait until January for the next book! Ugh! I am really loving this series!
