Baited is a great addition to the Julie Collins Series by Lori Armstrong. Highly recommend reading the other stories first to get some of the back story behind each character, especially Julie. I really had no idea how Ms. Armstrong was going to wrap up this story line in such a small package but she did it and superbly at that. If you've enjoyed the series as much as I have, you're going to want to get your hands on this one as well.

I have read all the Julie Collins books and found them mostly well plotted, humorous, and sexy. This one had none of those qualities. The plot was rather ridiculous, and seriously, does she have to add a snark section about her dislike of dogs and the love many people have for them (along with many other kinds of pets) in every single book? I really liked the last short story, but this one was a huge disappointment. If the author is tired of writing this series, then she should stop rather than drop her higher standards of quality work. Maybe she could try a book about Martinez and how he came to be El Presidente. Now that would be interesting!

I have read all of the other Julie Collins series of books and loved them all. This one is just as good as the rest. I just wish Lori Armstrong would pick the series up again with full length books. Her writing is exceptional!

I love the whole Julie Collins series of books. She is such an interesting character. I would definitely recommend starting from the begining with Blood Ties and then continuing on from there. You will not be disappointed!
