This book is ok. It gives a good description of exercises and function, however it lacks details on specific sets/reps and days to train. This is more for those looking to add functional excericses to a conditioning program that is in place already. It is slightly misleading the way the information is presented. It leads one to believe that there is a detailed conditioning program to follow. Slightly dissapointing.

Best part were the medicine ball exercises. Good for any sport, not just baseball!

I heard from a few colleagues that this book was a great resource, so I decided to purchase it before baseball season so I could give my players some fresh training ideas. I found the book to be fantastic. It clearly lays out training programs from some of the top big leaguers like Santana, Pedroia, and Wright. All of the exercises are specifically for baseball and are clearly presented, making it easy to coach them to my team. I've really taken advantage of David Wright's on-field skill development program, but I plan on having them use the other exercise programs in the off-season. I definitely recommend this to anyone that is looking to improve their training with a world-class program.
